- Jigging/Casting - Trout & Cisco
On this light tackle/hands-on fishing trip, we'll be cruising around the beautiful Grand Traverse Bay looking for lake trout & cisco. In May and June we look towards the shoreline and shallow reefs holding fish by casting and retrieving jigs or blade baits back to the boat. Then once the water warms, fish will then push put to deep water/reefs for the remainder of summer. Amazing fishing trip!
We had such a great time fishing with Tyler. With it being our first time, Tyler gave us confidence by teaching us the set up, and what was required to reel in the fish. We ended up with a cooler full of filets!! Definitely a MUST try Lake Michigan experience. Would highly recommend Tyler!!

A great experience of a family
We booked this trip in the weekend of 1st Oct. The weather was great. Captain was very friendly and helpful. We had non experience in fishing before. With his help we caught 12 fish including 9 ciscos and 3 trouts. He is also very kind to answer a lot of our questions and share his stories with us. We had a very nice experience and would definitely strong recommend this trip to everyone.
