Walleye iz jezera Erie krstare otvorenim vodama prateći plen. Lovimo ove Walleye tehnikom trollinga koja nam omogućava da postavimo mamce na strateške dubine gde se Walleye hrane. Naše trolling metode su veoma precizne i možemo ponavljati prezentacije omogućavajući našim gostima da ulove Walleye najboljom mogućom brzinom. After dialing in a productive morning program, we headed back out for a 4-hour Independence Day afternoon charter with Rory and Glenda from Oklahoma along with Josh from Austin, Texas. With holiday boat traffic a little lighter than I expected for a Saturday holiday, I took a risk and found a spot between the beach and Kelly's Island. We started at the island and worked back towards the beach. It turned out to be beautiful July afternoon. The fish made us work for them, but once we got the spread tuned in, the action stayed steady and the crew got to experience exactly what Lake Erie walleye fishing is all about. The afternoon's best producers were BADMO LURES small Arrowhead blades on crawler harnesses behind Off Shore Tackle Company planer boards, running 40 to 60 feet back with 2-ounce weights. Silver-backed BADMO Arrowheads Big Fish Tuff Tackle Co. TruTrip 50s 22 to 26 back. Dipsey Divers set 26 to 36 pulling Rapala fire tiger J7s were as ? as the afternoon sunshine. The combination of good company, summer weather, and Lake Erie walleyes made for a memorable Fourth of July outing. Rory, Glenda, and Josh experienced a little bit of everything Lake Erie has to offer and finished the trip with a nice catch of fresh walleye. To complete their Lake Erie experience, they also headed home with some local favorite Bayside Provisions breading mix, giving them everything they needed to turn their catch into a fantastic fish fry. ??? **An Independence Day Lake Erie Adventure They'll Be Talking About All Summer!** ??? While their younger brother was competing in a baseball tournament at the Cedar Point C Sportsplex, this crew decided to start their July 4th celebration the best way possible—with an early morning Lake Erie Walleye Charter. The group included two 16-year-old boys, their slughtly older sister, and her boyfriend. As we pulled away from the dock, one of the boys asked, "Are we going to catch a fish?" I laughed and replied, "We'll catch more than one." That prediction came true in a hurry. We headed west of the islands toward the top of the firing range and found ourselves in non-stop action right from the start. For the first hour, rods were firing constantly with about a 10-to-1 ratio of Sheephead to Walleye, keeping everyone busy and entertained. The crew put their playlist on the stereo, turned up the music, and enjoyed a classic summer morning on Lake Erie. As the trip progressed, we kept making adjustments until we dialed in exactly what the fish wanted: small baits and plenty of silver. Bill returned this year along with his fiancee Tina and her brother Gary to see what Lake Erie has to offer. This was a casting trip and we headed Northeast of the Shoals and set our drift in. The slight SW breeze. The drift was slow, but the fish were ready for action. Gary started us off with a nice Walleye on his first cast. We picked away until the sun was too much for the crew. We finished a few short of their limit with a requested early stop. ? Fathers Day morning brought a different pace, but it was a huge success nonetheless! After a massive bug hatch during the day and an even bigger mayfly hatch to come that night the walleyes had no shortage of food. The fish were definitely full, and the bite slowed down compared to previous trips. Even so, they were still willing to eat for anglers who stayed patient and kept working the program. With two couples aboard looking for the full Lake Erie Walleye Experience, the morning turned into a fantastic outing filled with great company, beautiful weather, and enough action to keep everyone engaged. While it wasn't a race to the limit, it was one of those trips that reminded us that success isn't always measured by speed—it's measured by smiles, laughs, and fish hitting the deck throughout the day. The spread stayed consistent with Big Fish Tuff Tackle Co. TruTrip 50s on the corners paired with BADMO LURES Arrowhead spoons. On the Off Shore Tackle Company OR-12 planer boards, Reef Runner Tackle Company Deep Lil Rippers 45/45 with guppy weights continued to take fish. The Dipsey Divers pulling J7s on a 3 setting, 52 feet back, chipped in throughout the morning and helped put together a respectable catch despite the challenging post-hatch conditions. For both couples, the trip was exactly what a day on Lake Erie should be—great fishing, great conversation, beautiful scenery, and fresh Lake Erie walleyes headed home for the dinner table. They also left with some local favorite Bayside Provisions breading mix, making sure the Lake Erie experience continued long after the boat returned to the dock. Slow by recent standards? Maybe. But by every other measure, this charter was a tremendous success. The hot walleye bite—and even hotter weather—had me playing catch-up on posts. On June 20th, we had the privilege of donating a charter to Walleyes for Wounded Heroes , and it turned into a memorable day on the water for Ricky and his wife, who made the trip part of their anniversary weekend celebration. The fish cooperated with Big Fish Tuff Tackle Co. Big Fish Tuff Tackle Co. TruTrip 50s running on the corners, paired with BADMO LURES Arrowhead spoons. On the Off Shore Tackle Company OR-12 planer boards we ran Reef Runner Tackle Company Deep Lil Rippers 30/30 with guppy weights. On the Dipsey Divers J7s set on 3 52 back helped put together a great morning bite just offshore from the roller coasters off of Cedar Point To top it off, they headed home with fresh walleye and some local favorite Bayside Provisions breading mix to complete the Lake Erie experience. The Dipsey Divers pulling J7s on a 3 setting, 52 feet back, rounded out the spread and helped produce a steady bite just offshore from the roller coasters of Cedar Point .
