August and September are peak months for Chinook, (aka King Salmon). And this season is shaping up to be a fantastic year! Great numbers of kings have been coming in for both mornings and evenings. Other than the occasional slow day due to weather, I would expect that fishing will remain great throughout Aug and September.

There’s still plenty of time to get in on the action. The past few days the coho and rainbow fishing has remained strong, with a few kings (chinook) starting to show up in the mix.

Great action this morning with our 4 person limit of coho salmon. Fishing should only get better from here.

The coho bite remains absolutely crazy! We’re also catching a few kings and Rainbows mixed in. Lake conditions have been good, baitfish are in good numbers and the fish are here.
