Overdraft
Antigua and Barbuda might be nicknamed the 'land of 365 beaches', but these islands deserve to be known for their plentiful fishing opportunities, too! Come aboard Overdraft charters and join Captain Frank Hart for a world-class deep-sea angling adventure that you won't forget.
Capt. Frank is a native Antiguan, so you'll get to experience this fantastic fishery through the eyes of a true local. He has over 50 years of angling under his belt, and some serious bragging rights, too. He tagged and released the most Marlin in this area in 2007, and won the Antigua and Barbuda Marlin Classic for the Overdraft in 2012. Who could be better to introduce you to these bountiful waters?
Speaking of the Overdraft, she's a 40' Fiberpol offshore sportfishing vessel that can comfortably accommodate up to 6 anglers. Equipped with the latest navigational gear, she's perfect for getting to you the hottest nearshore and offshore fishing spots. Your captain will also provide life jackets for all ages. There's a full toilet on board, so you'll be cruising these waters in plenty of comfort. Onboard, you'll also find outriggers for maximum trolling. Get ready to reel 'em in!
As for the species you'll be targeting, the waters around Antigua and Barbuda really shine when it comes to big game fish. Capt. Frank will have you trolling 10-15 minutes after leaving the dock, and you can expect to reel in hard-fighters such as Mahi Mahi, Blue Marlin, Wahoo, and plenty more. Blue Marlin are tag and release here – it's only fair that other anglers get the chance to battle them, too!
Your trip includes top-quality rods and reels, and you'll be catching your own live bait. A first mate will be on hand to help with whatever you need – tips are always appreciated. Come aboard Overboard charters and get ready to experience a whole other side of these beautiful islands!

caught a monster mahi mahi withing the fist half hour. had a insane run off with some sort of billfish right after that, almost spooled us. popped the line nothing the crew or we couldve done differntly. started jigging hooked into some sharks that were fun! finished off the day trolling back to shore caught another mahi. 10/10 recomend a 6hr trip atleast
had so much fun the first time. we had to book again. was hoping for a billfish but, thats why its called fishing not catching. Captain Frank still made sure our baits were trolling the way they should be despite the large amount of seaweed this year. if your looking to catch fish book these guys!
had a good time everyone caught. great to see the teamwork between captain nick and frank.
4 hour trip on a very well maintained and clean boat. Cover over the non fishing area is the only way to go. Chair was in very good condition. Captain and mate were very cordial. Caught some Mahi Mahi and serveral barracuda...would highly recommend.

Captain Frank kept everything rolling smooth, always staying a step ahead. Fishing was good in the am and slowed down a bit, nothing you can do about that. Caught some Barracuda and 2 Wahoo overall good trip and would go back if the chance is ever there.

Thank you for your response Thomas! We look forward to having you again.
English Harbour, Antigua and Barbuda
Captain Nicholas Hart runs these top-class charters with his father, Captain Frank Hart. Capt. Frank has been fishing for 50 years, and working as a captain for 20 of these years. What started off as a love and passion for angling and just needing to be out on the water soon turned into helping other people fulfil their dreams of landing a fish on their own. He has some serious bragging rights, too - in 2012 he won the Antigua Barbuda Marlin Classic on his champion boat, the Overdraft. In 2007, he tagged and released the most Marlin in this area. In 2004, he took part in the Saint Marten Billfish tournament and came in second place. Who could be better equipped to introduce you to the beautiful, bountiful waters of Antigua and Barbuda?
