Folklure Charters specializes in reef, wreck and offshore fishing out of Summerland, Florida, just minutes north of Key West. Explore the emerald waters with a tournament captain and get your hands on whatever is in season and biting.

You name the target; the crew will take you to it - it’s as simple as that. From Tarpon, Permit, Kingfish, and Amberjack to Cobia, Barracuda, Grouper, Snapper, Sailfish, and Tuna, you can catch them all.

Folklure Charters will take you up to 40 miles out into the Atlantic Ocean/Florida Straits. There, you will be able to test your angling skills, make a great catch possible, reel in the first fish in your life, or just simply sit back and relax.

You will be fishing aboard a brand-new 27’ Onslow Bay center console. This boat comes powered by a pair of 350 HP Mercury engines and can comfortably take up to 4 anglers. It is outfitted with everything you need to have a successful day on the water, from navigational and fish-finding electronics by Simrad to top-notch professional accessories.

You will be provided with Penn gear and tackle to bring in the bounty, as well as licenses, bait, lures, and a complimentary fish cleaning service. All you have to do is bring your own snacks, drinks, and the desire to have fun.

It’s not just about catching fish. The crew offers the experience of a lifetime. Folklure Charters is where you will find Big Fish and Bigger Stories!

3/4 Day Trip – Offshore on June 28, 2020 • 2 adults

My 16 year old daughter and I had an excellent trip with Captain Frank and his mate Shawn. Folklure Charters is a top notch operation! The boat is well maintained, clean, dry ridding, smooth and fast. Rods and and tackle were all in very good condition, great quality, well organized and ready to fish. We arrived early at the dock and the boat was ready to go fishing. The bite was slow in the morning, but this did not discourage the Captain and he kept running (much further than the other charters) until we found the fish. Most of the numerous dolphin we caught were small but we did get some keepers. Captain Frank was not satisfied with the catch so fished most of the way back in until we found some tuna! The Captain and Mate are great people and I would highly recommend them to anybody looking for a fun time on the water.

Full Day Trip – Offshore on June 2, 2021 • 3 adults

The day started off slow but the captain never stopped moving and working to get use on some fish which didn’t take long. The captain worked hard once we got on the fish and he never stopped. The boat was nice and clean and all the gear was great. The captain was very helpful and had loads of tips and tricks. Would definitely recommend and would use agin.

Just a 4 hour tour

Half Day Trip – Reef/Wreck on December 27, 2019 • 2 adults

My father in law and I asked for something more than just small yellow tails and Capt Frank put us on some really nice late season grouper. His boat and gear are top notch and well taken care of. He is very knowledgeable and will tell you what is in season and what can be caught. He also gives you the freedom to fish the way you want or will cater to how you want to be taken care of. I can not say enough about Folklure Charters and what a great first experience in the lower keys we had. If you are coming down here and are searching for a nice boat, a very good and hard working captain, and want to catch quality fish, this is the charter you want. Worth every penny. As a kicker, we did the hook and cook at Tonios. It is where you get picked up and dropped off. We just walked in with our fish, chose 3 different ways for it to be cooked and it was amazing. We had nearly 8 pounds of fillets and 6 people. It cost $89 to feed everyone....it was our bar bill that raised the cost. Can not wait to come back and fish with Capt Frank again.

Whole day Tails and Scales

Full Day Trip – Offshore on July 29, 2020 • 4 adults

Worked hard for a few tails early morning then headed offshore looking for dolphin. They didn’t come easy either but Frank was a professional and kept at it until we loaded up on some schoolies. Would recommend Frank for a solid, safe and professional charter.
