Big Game Charters LLC invites you to join Captain Norm Truman and his crew for an unforgettable offshore experience out of Pompano Beach, FL. This is a family-owned charter business that prides itself on providing you with a sportfishing trip specifically tailored to your needs.
You'll be fishing on a 52' Merritt sport fisher that's powered by a pair of 550 HP Detroit engines. There's plenty of room aboard for up to 6 anglers to comfortably fish in, so you're free to bring some friends along for the ride. It's equipped with everything you'll need for an offshore trip, including navigation electronics, 4 fighting chairs, a livewell for bait, and more besides.
What you target on the water is completely up to you. If you're interested in bottom fishing, there's plenty of delicious Grouper and Snapper to go after. For more sporting types, you can test your mettle against the likes of Blue and White Marlin, Mahi Mahi, Sailfish, Swordfish, Tuna, and others too.
Rods, reels, and tackle are included in the price of the trip. The mate works for tips, so 20-30% gratuity is very much appreciated. Live bait can be bought at $80 for a dozen. All you need to do is bring a pair of polarized sunglasses, along with some drinks or snacks, and you're all set to do some proper fishing.

We have a great time celebrating my kids B-Day! We got like 16 fish from a Barracuda to Vermillion Snapper, Trigger fish, Sand Tail fish! Beautiful boat and super nice crew! We Will do it again!
Captain Norm & his First Mate Joey proved to live up to their 5 Star Rating! With expert Navigation & Fishing skills they took a group of the four of us - Grandfather, Father, & 2 Sons (3 Generations) on a Great trip! These are time tested real fishermen that I would strongly recommend to anyone looking for a memorable fishing experience!
Captain and deckhand were both great. Boat super clean and there was a ton of space. Even though conditions weren’t great for catching, they did everything they could to catch fish. My son did catch both a 40lb sailfish and a mahi. Would highly recommend for families.
Thank you Norm and Joey for the halfday trip today. These guy's work hard for you and do everything they can to catch you some fish. Will use again if i find myself in Pompano.
Went out with 6 of us for a bachelor party. First time doing a charter for all of us. Had a great time. Everyone caught a few fish which was nice. Would highly recommend this charter. Norm the captain was a great guy seemed to really know where to go to try and get us a good experience. Joey was the man for making sure all the rods were constantly set with bait and out in the water. They did a great job making sure we got the experience to reel the fish in and got to enjoy ourselves. Will definitely be back and I already know I won’t need to research another charted now. 10/10 experience. They even filet what you want after the charter to take home. Thank you!
