Captain and the crew was great and did everything that we ask very happy with our trip.

Hubby and I had a FANTASTIC four hour charter on The Rebound with Captain Norm. Honestly, the best charter we’ve ever been on. We caught 47 fish including 4 blackfin tuna and 2 Mahi!
Capt. Norm runs a tight, well-maintained, safe and clean ship. He’s old-school and professional and his knowledge of the waters is extensive. The mate, Ro, worked his tail off - he never stopped!
A small but important aside - As a woman, I’ve had past charter experiences where I’m pre-judged and treated like a princess that doesn’t want to chip her nails. It’s frustrating. That couldn’t have been farther from the truth on this trip and I have a ton of respect for that! Both Norm and Ro were so kind.
We had a lot of laughs and a lot of sweat in the summer sun. I have a feeling it was a once-in-a-lifetime experience, but we’ll be going back with Captain Norm to try again FOR SURE!

Capt. Norm and Shawn worked their butts off to get use some fish!! When all other boat weren’t catching we were still managing to reel a couple in. Boat was nice with lots of room to move around. We will definitely be back!

My husband and I went out today with Captain Norm and Sean and took two of our friends with us. We caught a mahi mahi apiece. Only one was a keeper but catching them was still a lot of fun.

The crew was FANTASTIC. Both were conscientious, knowledgeable and seemed to actually really, really want us to catch fish and did their level best to make that happen (it didn’t, we each only caught one fish but obviously not their fault.) We really enjoyed their company - they were both very easy going and were fun and Sean had a lot of great stories he shared.

Despite only catching one keeper fish we thoroughly enjoyed trying to coax them onto our hooks and just being on the water makes for a good time. We did enjoy an unexpected treat when the U.S. Navy’s Blue Angels began buzzing us as they practiced for an upcoming air show, which made up for not getting more fish.

The boat is kind of a typical fishing boat situation. Not luxurious but large enough, quite comfortable and it got the job done. There is definitely room enough for six but not much more.

We will definitely use this charter again, the only feedback I can think of is maybe asking the folks who hire you what they want to do. When we didn’t have much luck after our initial catch Norm moved us closer to shore to fish over a reef - which was fine, I realize he was just trying to give us the best chance he knew to catch fish - but in retrospect we all decided we would have rather just remained over blue water to try our chances at getting mahi. It’s not something we vocalized at the time, just a suggestion I thought of afterward.
