Visit Puerto Vallarta and head out on some of the most productive fishing grounds around with PV Hook Up. The charter was founded by a group of friends whose mission is to provide everyone who visits with the same wonderful experience they had when they first arrived in this paradise.
Explore these waters on the Magnifico, their 31’ Bertram saltwater fishing boat. It’s one of the most well-known vessels in Puerto Vallarta, with a reputation as “the place to be” for serious sport fishers. It was completely restored in 2009, and now has everything you’ll need for a world-class angling experience.
The Magnifico boasts a spacious deck with a convertible top, so you can enjoy as much (or as little) sun as you like. Step below deck, and you will find a comfortable interior, with a full head, cabin, and plenty of space to relax after hard-fought hook-ups on deck. Up to 5 anglers can comfortably come on board.
Depending on the trip you choose, you could be inside the Banderas Bay, or up to 50 miles offshore in famous spots from El Morro to El Banco. In the bay, you’ll fight species like Jacks, Roosterfish, Mackerel, Bonito, Grouper, and Snapper. But offshore is where the real action is! Wahoo, Sailfish, Yellowfin Tuna, Blue, Black, and Striped Marlin – you name it, and the crew will find it!
After a productive day in these fish-rich waters, the crew will clean and fillet your catch, so you’ll be able to prepare a delicious meal as soon as you get back. All the equipment will be provided for you, so just bring some food and drinks, as well as sunscreen, and get ready for some fun!
Join PV Hook Up and come have an unforgettable fishing experience in the waters of Puerto Vallarta!

10 Hour Trip – 22–36 Miles Offshore
We were able to land 3 striped marlin, one for each of us on our trip. We had 3 misses as well. At the end on the the day the captain switched to Rapalas and we landed 4 Jacks as well. It was well worth the money for the extra time. Captain and First Mate were first class
