His vessel, the “Hooked-up,” is 38’ long and over 13’ wide and makes for a superior, safe, and very stable fishing platform. You’ll feel comfortable no matter the water or weather conditions. It’s safe to say this is one of the biggest and most comfortable vessels you’ll find in the area. With plenty of room for up to 6 anglers, it’s perfect for any sort of group fishing adventure you have in mind.
When it comes to fishing, you’ll find that Lake Erie’s reputation for amazing angling is well deserved. Light tackle trolling is the name of the game, and your targets will include the likes of Brown, Lake, and Rainbow Trout, along with Walleye and Yellow Perch. It’s a real freshwater extravaganza out here!
Capt. Dan will provide you with everything you’ll need for the trip, including rods, reels, and terminal tackle. The only thing you’ll need to take care of is purchasing a freshwater fishing license, as well as any drinks and snacks you’d like to have with you for the day. What a day out on the lake with Dan and his son Sean. First class all the way. Sean worked his a** off the whole time to make sure we caught as many fish as we did. Very professional. I grew up on the shores of Lake Erie in Dunkirk, NY. Fishing, hunting, and everything outdoors is what me and my son do! So after recreational fishing for many, many years, the charter business was our next natural step. Having grown up in these parts, we are pretty in tune with what the fishery is doing all year long. We run one of, if not the biggest, charter boats out of dunkirk.
