Screwy Louie's Fishing Charters is based in Fair Haven, New York just a short ride west of Oswego. Launching out of Little Sodus Bay, the company takes anglers of all ages and skill levels to the beautiful waters of Lake Ontario.

Join Captain Brendan
and let him take you to where the fish are. If you want to go out during the spring months, you can get your hands on Brown Trout, Chinook Salmon, Lake Trout, and Steelhead. Later in the season, you will be able to add Smallmouth Bass and Coho Salmon to the list.

The waters of Fair Haven are home to trophy Trout and Steelhead and can easily fill your cooler with some outstanding catches. Once you are done fishing, your catch will be cleaned for you so that you could taste it for dinner later.

Screwy Louie's Fishing Charters will take you out aboard a 30' Tiara boat. Built in 2000, the vessel comes powered by two 320 HP Crusader engines and can cruise at a top speed of 35 knots. The boat is rigged with electronics and top-notch gear and has plenty of space for up to 6 anglers. There is also a toilet on board for your maximum comfort.

All trips come with the use of rods, reels, tackle, lures, and live bait. Feel free to bring your own snacks and drinks and don't forget to purchase a fishing license before the trip.

unbelievable trip

This was an awesome fishing  trip  the captain and his first mate were outstanding one of the best that I ever had. The boat was beautiful. All fishing gear was  state of the art I would highly highly recommend this trip for any angler looking to get out on Lake Ontario. I will be booking plenty more trips, with screwy Louie again, the captain and first mate was above and beyond what I could  ever expect  they work very hard to get you fish

Took the hubby and two grown kids fishing on Lake Ontario. My goal was to create a great fishing memory. Originally we scheduled Screwy Lewie’s charter for a half day beginning at 1pm to 4pm. He called us the previous day and said he felt the weather and his gut instincts were that we really should go early in the morning to get fish. We changed our time to 5:30 am and had a very successful day. Friends of ours who left for fishing at 11am on that same day said they didn’t catch anything. Meanwhile, we caught our limit of brown trout. Deckhand John was very knowledgeable as well and welded his fillet knife like an iron chef. The conversation was great and we loved hearing their fish tales of past customers. It was a great time! The kids now want to come back for salmon. Fish-check, good time-check, fish dinner on the grill-check, lasting memories-check.

Brendan was very polite and made the experience for my children very comfortable and action packed even though the weather was unusually cool. 
I will definitely be returning and will be telling everyone about my experience. his rates are also very fair which is just an added bonus.

Always use Screwy Louie Charter. Again, a fun filled trip. Charlie was great as first mate. We had a great time as always.
Capt. Brendan putting us over fish and with Charlie setting lines, we caught some nice fish!!  We were 6 for 8 on Kings...3 time I've used Screwy Louie Charters...Everytime was great
