Fin Chaser Sportfishing operates for 20 consecutive seasons around New York and New Jersey, offering premium-quality fishing charters. Launching out of Manasquan Inlet, Point Pleasant Beach, you will be perfectly placed to enjoy incredible sportfishing both inshore and offshore, and Capt. Frank will make sure that is exactly what you get.

You will be fishing aboard a 36' Contender fisharound, powered by triple Yamaha 250s up to a hair-raising 35 knots. The boat has quality Raymarine electronics to pinpoint the best fishing spots and outriggers for the best trolling spreads offshore.

Fin Chaser Sportfishing makes a point to never stress about the fuel gauge. Offshore trips last as much at 16 hours, heading 80-90 miles out to the incredible fishing grounds of the Hudson Canyon. Out here, you will find White Marlin, Thresher Sharks, Bluefin and Yellowfin Tuna, and Mahi Mahi. You will focus on trolling and chunking to battle the biggest and meanest of each species.

But you don't need to travel far to find big hookups. Fishing the inshore and nearshore waters, you can target Striped Bass, Bluefish, Tautog, Flounder, Fluke, and more. With so many species to choose from, it should come as no surprise that there are plenty of techniques to choose from, but these guys take things to a whole new level.

Capt. Frank and his skilled first mate are light tackle and fly fishing experts, and the boat is full of tournament-ready tackle for both these techniques. It doesn't stop there, though. On your trip, you can troll, chunk, jig, spin, pop, bottom fish, and drift fish. You will also have a choice of live bait, lures, and of course, flies.

If you're looking for that dream fishing charter on the Jersey Shore, look no further. These guys have the skills, the equipment, and the experience to get you reeling in fish bigger than you could imagine. So what are you waiting for? Head to Point Pleasant Beach and let the battle begin!

Fin Chasers Point Pleasant - Not just a top sportfishing outfit - Family friendly charters too!
6 Hour Trip - Inshore (AM) on August 19, 20244 adults

Fin Chasers @ Point Pleasant are true professionals. They are well stocked with gear, and multiple fresh bait options so you don't have the burden of bringing much with you other than your lunch for the day. Our charter, headed by Captain Ryan, was excellent. Captain Ryan was well prepped and had several location/options for to us fish given the not so perfect weather the day of our trip. He was extremely helpful and patient with our kids, and kept the bait and net support coming under a steady flow of 'fish on'. We had a great bounty of black sea bass, and fluke in spite of the not so perfect weather and surf. Everyone in our party caught fish, with keepers. I recall hearing other boats talking over the boat radio, and not having as much luck as we did. A big thanks to Captain Ryan for making our family fishing event so special! I definitely recommend Fin Chasers, and Captain Ryan for your next trip.

Great Captain and Great Trip
6 Hour Trip - Inshore (AM) on August 1, 20244 adults

We had an awesome time doing some fishing for Sea Bass, Ling Cod, and Fluke with Captain Anthony. He was very knowledgeable about our location near Point Pleasant, NJ and had us catching a ton of fish from our first line drop. We fished one of the ship wreck areas for Sea Bass and Ling Cod, near shore for Fluke, and in the river for Fluke. He really worked hard to find the fish for us. He is a genuinely nice individual and we had a great time getting to know him. We will definitely charter with him again.

Half Day with Captain Frank Wagenhoffer
6 Hour Trip - Inshore (PM) on August 1, 20203 adults

The day was fabulous. Frank called us the night before to come earlier than planned as he noticed the weather would get rough in the late afternoon. We arrived in Brielle and was met at the pier with a beautiful 36 foot clean well equipped fishing boat with a bathroom and downstairs kitchen/sleeping area. Frank knows where the fish are. He went out about 17 miles to where the wreks are and immediately began to pull in Sea Bass. We must have caught 70 fish but had to throw most back due to size and type. The ones we caught were filleted on board and put on ice. We had a gourmet dinner of fresh Sea Bass last night and have enough frozen for 2-3 more meals. He and his crew were delightful, well informed and very attentive.

Saturday June 5th - 6hr AM trip
6 Hour Trip - Inshore (AM) on June 5, 20212 adults

Great day on the water with my son. Captain Frank and 1st mate Dave were fantastic. Caught live bait on our way out prior to fishing stripers and blues. Fished bottom and top water with jigs, plugs and bunker. Caught our limit and released the rest alive and healthy. I would definitely recommend and use Captain Frank again, very knowledgeable and friendly.

Response from Captain
