Your host is a seasoned team of the best saltwater guides Port Renfrew has assembled. They are all passionate anglers looking forward to making your trip one of a lifetime.
On your day out with us, you’ll be able to target Chinook and Coho Salmon, Halibut, and Lingcod along the pristine West Coast of Vancouver Island. Enjoy the abundance of marine wildlife, such as grey, orca, and humpback whales, seals, dolphins, marine birds, and many other species in our prolific waters. You can expect to use techniques such as light tackle, bottom fishing, trolling, jigging, and spinning.
Your fishing adventure starts on a comfortable and safe 30’ Northwest Aluminum Craft or Silver Streak boat that can safely take up to 4 anglers. This boats come with a toilet and an ice-box. Meals and drinks only included with all inclusive trips.
Please make sure to buy a valid fishing license ahead of time. Licenses can be obtained from our Gift shop, must be purchased 1 day in advance minimum.

Full day bottom fishing with Captain Pat
I have fished with a couple different charter operations … and this was the absolute best experience I have ever had. The gear was nice, but Pat was an absolutely fantastic guide! He was personable, knowledgeable, and very open to sharing his experience with us. I have fished for many decades and am quite competent, but this was a great day of further education. We did catch fish as well … just a bonus.
