This crew offers 2 to 3 day guided trips and will do its best to make sure you have a fun time full of fishing. On these trips, you can expect to use techniques such as light tackle, fly fishing, drift fishing, and spinning. You'll also enjoy the abundance of wildlife, such as bears, eagles, maybe even elks, and many other species along the wild rivers.
River trips are tailored to suit your needs and expertise when fishing for Salmon and Trout. As river fishing is subject to river levels, the exact fishing destination, equipment, and catch for the day will be chosen by the guide based upon weather, specific conditions, and guest safety considerations.
Your fishing adventure will start on an 18' Lund Jon boat that can safely take up to 2 anglers. It uses a 65 HP Mercury Jet engine. Drift boats are used too, traveling stealth mode down while enjoying the nature surrounding you.
Please make sure to buy a valid fishing freshwater license ahead of time. Wild Coast Wilderness Resort offers only catch and release trips, so any fish you catch will be returned to the water. The boat will be supplied with snacks, drinks, and lunch for your pleasure, be sure to let the captain know if you have any questions or want to bring your own.
