Depending on the time of year, you might hook into Speckled Trout, Redfish, Flounder, Black Drum, and whatever else takes the bait.
For these species, you’re likely to bottom fish using light tackle. After the trip, Captain Michael will clean your catch.
Whiplash Charters welcomes kids aboard, so the whole family can come and unplug for the day! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise, you should bring your own. Also, remember to bring snacks so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty stomach!
Capt. Michael runs a 22’ Pathfinder center console with space for 4 passengers. It comes with everything you need for a productive day on the water. Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures. Live bait is included, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, just show up ready for a good time! Have in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. If you don’t know what to expect, ask the captain.
Don’t forget to bring sunglasses, sunscreen (non-spray), and bottled water. If you’d like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

My boyfriend and I had a great time! I've never been fishing before, and he was super cool about it. We caught almost a dozen fish; I highly recommend. Cap Michael is fantastic!

IT WAS A BLAST!

We caught loads of nice fish, plenty of keepers, the bite was consistent, and when it wasn’t, he moved spots and got us back on fish. We caught reds, trout, sheepshead, black drums and many more. Would recommend. He cleaned our catch afterward too. Michael was a great guide. Will return again.

Captain Mike was Super awsome very Chill and Cool guy tried different spots when the bite slacked off but we found fish right off the bat and had a awsome time we did the 6hr trip and he knew the spots to go where the fish were

AMAZING TRIP!

I took this trip after a last minute cancelation from another charter. We were so lucky! My son and nephew wanted to go fishing as a graduation celebration. We went to many different locations to fish. We all caught a lot of fish and Mike was so patient with us beginner moms. And my son caught his first big shark ever. The trip was definitely worth it and we all would do it again!

You can cancel or modify your booking up to 14 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.

When the captain confirms your trip, FishingBooker charges your credit card a 20% deposit to guarantee your reservation.
The remaining balance is to be paid directly to the charter operator on or prior to your trip date in one of the following payment methods:
