Party Time Charters sails out of historic Calabash, N.C. Our convenient location on the border of North and South Carolina is within easy reach of the entire Grand Strand of Myrtle Beach and North Myrtle Beach as well as the coastal beaches of North Carolina. Due to our central location we are only a few short minutes from the ocean. We are able to get to our fishing destinations quickly allowing more fishing time on our charters.
The Party Time is a clean and comfortable 40 ft. Key West sport fishing vessel powered by twin 400hp caterpillar engines making her one of the fastest boats in the area. The Party Time is U.S.C.G. approved for 20 passengers ideal for family and corporate groups. The vessel is equipped with all the latest electronics and fishing accessories necessary for a fantastic fishing adventure. We offer a variety of trips for anglers of all skill levels from the novice to the experienced. There are no age limits on our trips. All U.S.C.G. life saving requirements are on board the vessel. Our trips range from half day 4 and 6 hour trips(near shore up to 15 miles out) to the 8 hour and 11 hour offshore trips for the more adventurous fisherman. We offer trolling or bottom fishing targeting a variety of species such as mackerel(king and Spanish), cobia, barracuda, amberjack, sea bass, snapper, grouper and many others. We also specialize in giant shark fishing trips. We crew will advise you of the best fishing options for your trip before departure so you can choose the plan for the day. All fishing equipment, tackle and bait is included on your trip and the crew will clean your catch when you return to the dock.

Great fishing AND catching!

We just had an incredible time aboard the “Party Time” boat! We caught a ton of fish and the boat is very spacious and very comfortable. Both Brandon and Alec did an incredible job making sure we all had a blast and had the kind of fishing trip we were looking for. They were very knowledgeable and very experienced, kept a very clean and organized boat, and would highly recommend going out on a charter with them and Party Time charters. They’re pros and our trip was 10/10.

6 Hour Trip (AM) on June 1, 2025 • 3 adults • 5 children

We had an amazing trip with four adults and five children, and the crew couldn't have been more accommodating. They were incredibly friendly and especially great with the younger kids, who had little to no fishing experience. The captain knew exactly where to go—we caught over 100 sea bass and were able to keep 26 of them. The crew worked efficiently to remove the fish from the hooks and quickly measured each one to ensure we followed all regulations. When the kids started to lose interest in catching sea bass, the captain didn’t miss a beat. He brought us to a new spot, and we all ended up catching our limit of Atlantic Sharpnose shark—such a fun experience! Overall, it was a fantastic day on the water. The crew was professional, knowledgeable, and made the trip enjoyable for all ages. We’re already planning to book with them again next summer!

6 Hour Trip (AM) on May 21, 2025 • 2 adults

We met up with Captain Brandon and Jackson for a 6 hour trip. Slight over cast to start and we went straight to dragging a net for some bait fish. Great time to relax for the 20 min drag and get used to the sway of the boat. Then they asked us to join in and bring the net back in. Of course we obliged and started helping on the starboard side pulling the catch in. Side note....if you want to catch, and not fish, do the net.....it was literally catching. We then proceeded towards SC to fish for some shark. Weren't out there maybe an hour and a half and we hook one. Now it is coming in relatively easy for a shark, definitely not realizing it was a 80 inch 172 lbs...according to a Google search.......Captain Brandon said a good 100 lbs.....It is fishing lol and it was; actually was 80 inches, and a male Spinner Shark. They said we would make the website. Pretty good catch. We then hook into another one of same species and get it to the boat and it appeared slightly smaller than the first from what we saw. It unfortunately broke free by going under the boat. They are fast. We then reset and not much time goes by and we hook into a small Hammerhead shark. That was absolutely amazing, they have built in handles to get them safely in the boat to remove the hook and set free. Really a great experience. Side note....the boat has 2 brand new motors and has a rather soothing vibration at idle and when trolling. There are 2 big cushions to lay out on and its covered so you can get out the sun. Ladies if you like fishing and a great time....book this with your husband or boyfriend. You both will love it! We then switched over to trolling for Spanish Mackerel. Once again Captain Brandon puts us on some fish. We catch 6 or 7 but not completely sure. Just enjoyed the experience and bringing them in. Definitely a great experience!

6 Hour Trip – Summer on August 8, 2025 • 10 adults

Brandon was an excellent captain & Kelly was a great First Mate. Brandon brought us to great spots while Kelly worked with him to help our crew of 14, all with varying fishing experience, catch a ton of fish and a few sharks! - and leave the boat hook free 😀 Both were great to be around for our 6 hour excursion, and made our trip a blast!

Jet Setters camping crew fishing trip

6 Hour Trip – Summer on June 25, 2025 • 10 adults

Got to dock, as Captain Brandon and deckhand Kelly was pulling in from a morning trip. We loaded up and away we went. Captain kept us on fishing spots all afternoon. A couple of first timers on the boat. Once they got the hang of it, you couldn't stop them. If fish wasn't biting Capt said, reeling in we moving. He knew needed fish for our Fish Fry on Friday. When we come back again, you can Best believe we will reserve them ASAP!!!! Thanks for a wonderful Fishing Trip...
