+43Enjoy some fun fishing on the sun-glazed coastal waters of South Caroline! Join Captain Kerry as he takes you to some of the best fishing grounds that the area has to offer.
You will fish aboard a 24’ Sea Hunt center console. This boat is a great all-rounder that is capable of fishing in the creeks and canals and to the nearshore reefs located 3 to 5 miles out.
You’ll be angling for some Black Drum, Bluefish, , Redfish, Bonnethead Shark, Spotted Seatrout, and Weakfish. Captain Kerry will give you Penn reels and has various brands of rods . With this light tackle, the type of techniques you can utilize on your trip includes bottom fishing, trolling, spinning, and jigging.
Live bait is provided for you and can be caught either before or during your trip. If you are lucky enough to catch a fish that’s legally big enough to be taken home then Captain Kerry is happy to clean it for you. Although safety equipment is provided, children under 6 years of age must have their own life jacket taken for them. Bring only drinks, snacks, sunscreen (no spray allowed), and payment for the balance owed.

We had ominous weather when we arrived at the dock and Captain Kerry was very gracious and gave us the option. We decided to go for it and had a great trip. We got rained on, but overall it was a great experience. We caught several different types of fish and went home with a few fillets that were great for dinner! Captain Kerry was well prepared, had all the rods set up, the bait ready to go, and knew exactly where he wanted to take us. He was very patient with our crew (myself, my 15 year old son, and my 11 year old daughter). On top of the fishing, he was also very knowledgeable of the area and gave us some great insight to Myrtle Beach. We had a great time and I would highly recommend Captain Kerry.

Had a blast with lots of laughs, and Captain Kerry was awesome! Did not land the biggest fish, but hey we were fishing on a boat and had a really great time! My tattooed husband from the City loved the Captain’s sense of humor and he felt comfortable even though we (wifey and Captain) made some hilarious comments at hubby’s expense! 😂 Thanks Captain and hope to do again in October.
