Destin Run-n-gun Fishing Charters invites you to bring your friends and family for a great day of fun and fishing near Destin, FL. Captain Tim will make every effort to provide you with a memorable experience. With decades of experience under his belt, he knows the local waters like the back of his hand and will do his best to ensure the trip is tailored to your needs.

His boat is a 26' TwinVee center console that's powered by a pair of 140 HP Suzuki engines and can reach a comfortable top speed of 25 knots. Along with the necessary safety and navigation gear needed for a trip, the boat is outfitted with a portable toilet, as well as a wireless trolling motor. The latter comes especially handy when you've got easily-spooked fish nearby.

When it comes to the fish, the waters around Destin are blessed with a variety of species you can target during the year. From bottom feeders like Gag and Red Grouper, as well as Red and Mangrove Snapper, to gamefish like Mahi Mahi, Kingfish, Amberjack, Cobia, and plenty more.

The Captain will supply you with all the necessary rods, reels, and terminal tackle for the trip. He'll also make sure to clean your catch after the trip is over so you don't have to bother with it later. Pack your favorite pair of sunglasses, get some drinks and snacks ready, and get ready to hook 'em!

Great trip with a great captain. Caught several different species including some really nice Spanish Mackerel. when the bite got slow he kept it fun.  Caught 40 or better fish and missed several. Such  a great trip.

Tim was fantastic! He got us in at the last minute when our other trip was canceled and it was definitely meant to be! He was so great helping my son catch 30+ fish and my husband got a 50 lb king mackerel! Such an experience to remember!!!!

5 Hour Offshore on July 29, 2023 • 4 adults

I’m going to tell you something about Tim that amazed me. He took us to our first spot, caught a few fish and when they quit biting, he moved us. When we were fishing, if they stopped biting for 5-10 minutes, he moved us to another spot. It was my son and 2 daughters and he made sure my daughters stayed on fish non-stop! They had a blast as did all of us. His knowledge of the ocean, habitats, and knowledge of all the fish we caught and other species was simply incredible. On our way in around 10:30 am (because it was almost 100 degrees already) he stopped the boat and said look at these mahi mahi. Then proceeded to pull out a couple poles with lures and we landed 10 of them in about 10 minutes to go with all of our snapper we caught. One more thing, my daughter landed a nice 4-‘-5’ shark and we got pictures of it. Great guide, great person!! Highly recommend Tim! If I could give 6 starrs I definitely would! Thank you Tim

Captain Tim was amazing!  Caught many different species of fish, never a dull moment.  Caught around100 lb Goliath grouper, caught and released!
