Pirate for Hire is a 2201 Mako Bay Boat, powered by 200HP Mercury Optimax, with a maximum capacity of 4 fishermen per outing. Pirate for Hire prides itself on being spacious, quick and outfitted with all the necessary gear for both casual outings and serious fishing excursions. The vessel comes equipped with quality fishing as well as navigational gear, including Garmin 760 GPS and fish finder.

Captain Ron, a 3rd generation pro fisherman, has spent his whole life fishing. He’s been at the helm of vessels ranging from 16’ to 65’ in size, and has served as a professional deckhand for over 6 years. He started fishing back in 1982, and has fished as north as North Carolina and as south as the bonefish-rich Bahamas. Islamorada, however, has always had a special place in his heart, both as his home and as one of Florida’s eminent fishing grounds. Captain Ron’s got more commercial fishing experience than many, however his true passion remains providing people with a fishing trip they won’t forget on the productive waterways of Florida Keys.

His son and second in command, Captain Daniel is a 4th generation fisherman that’s been fishing the Islamorada waterways his whole life before he started serving as a deckhand with his dad. Daniel usually compares his passion for fishing and outdoors to that of his father or even greater, and is happy to do whatever he can to provide you with a memorable experience aboard the Pirate.

Pirate for Hire crew fish the backcountry, flats and the Glades for the likes of Redfish, Snook, Tarpon, Permit, Bonefish, Trout, Mackerel, Snapper, Grouper and many others. Captain Ron can also arrange night fishing trips for Tarpon and Shark, as well as custom water excursions, such as sunset tours, ecotours and more. All fishing gear, bait and licenses are covered by the Captain at no additional cost. Ron prefers fishing with live bait on almost every trip all throughout the year, and will be happy to clean and filet your catch following the trip.

We had amazing time together with Capt. Ron Brack of Pirate For Hire Charters in Islamorada on 3rd July 2016. I’m definitely glad to made the choice with Capt. Ron. He’s very kind and experienced Capt. / Fisherman. Not only a perfect Fisherman but also a great instructor. He showed us the necessary techniques for all kind of fishing for that day we could catch. We got lots of and many types of fish. Was great pleasure and great joy. It worth the time and the money we spend. From the first minute till the last, he sailed and pin pointed all the spots necessary and found the fish whatever we asked to catch. Here by; I would like to thank him and his company one more time for the quality time we had and the great joy. Thank you Capt. Keep on catching and hope to meet you again.

Captain Ron knows his business!  Great fishing guide and a fine fellow. We caught a large number and variety of fish. He also out ran the rain a few times.  We went two for two on this fishing trip.  Thanks Ron.
