Enjoy live bait fishing for Striped Bass and fly fishing for a large variety of species that can be found in the Trinity River and the Lower Sacramento River, such as King Salmon, Steelhead, trophy Rainbow Trout, American Shad, Kokanee.

Your guide Jerry Frye has been working professionally for over two decades now. The biggest fish caught by his customers was a 58-pound Salmon, while Jerry himself has hooked a 35-pound Striped Bass that was 44 inches long and took him 45 minutes to reel in.

Jerry Frye is also a great teacher and will show you the methods and techniques that work best in his local waters.

You will be drift fishing from a fully outfitted 17' aluminum drift boat with a small outboard designed to speed through the slow 'frog water' and power you back upstream to re-fish productive water. Jerry launches close to the fish so get ready to begin the action shortly after you leave the shore.
Or a 20' Jetcraft with ample power for up to 4 passengers to run river to find King Salmon, Striped bass, or Trophy Rainbows.
We can accommodate large groups by enlisting help from other Guides we work with.
All trips come inclusive with gear and tackle that are specifically designed for the Trinity and Sacramento Rivers. Adding necessary permits we will now be fishing Whiskeytown,Shasta & Trinity lakes in 2026
All the necessary fly fishing equipment is also included in the price but you are more than welcome to bring your own 'lucky rod' if you wish.
