Fryefishing specializes in putting together trips to meet your schedule and budget. Based out of Anderson, California, he launches from various locations from Redding to Colusa to Eagle lake in Lassen county that all hold a great number of fish.

Enjoy live bait fishing for Striped Bass and fly fishing for a large variety of species that can be found in the Trinity River and the Lower Sacramento River, such as Shad, Steelhead, Salmon, and Brown Trout.

Your guide Jerry Frye has been working professionally for over two decades now. The biggest fish caught by his customers was a 58-pound Salmon, while Jerry himself has hooked a 35-pound Striped Bass that was 44 inches long and took him 45 minutes to reel in.

Jerry Frye is also a great teacher and will show you the methods and techniques that work best in his local waters.

You will be drift fishing from a fully outfitted 17’ aluminum drift boat with a small outboard designed to speed through the slow ‘frog water’ and power you back upstream to re-fish productive water. Jerry launches close to the fish so get ready to begin the action shortly after you leave the shore.

All trips come inclusive with gear and tackle that are specifically designed for the Trinity and Sacramento Rivers. Adding necessary permits we will now be fishing Eagle lake, Shasta & Trinity lakes in 2024
All the necessary fly fishing equipment is also included in the price but you are more than welcome to bring your own ‘lucky rod’ if you wish.
