CAPTAIN JERRY IS THE BEST!!
Half Day Trip - Shared (PM) on June 23, 2019 • 3 adults
Jerry Frye, the captain has a beautiful soul. unfortunately, Jerry was not informed by fishing booker about out booking appointment. However the moment he found out we came from Fresno he abandoned all his plan for the day and took us for fishing. And to say it all, this kind hearted gentleman refused to take the balance payment at end of the trip from us which was $282.00 we insisted but he will not collect the money from us. Wow!! what a person. God bless you and your family Jerry!!!! love you!!!

Fishing with Jerry
Half Day Trip - Shared (AM) on August 8, 2019 • 3 adults • 1 child
We could not have had a better experience, even though the fishing was slow. Mr. Frye called me the day before and told me the fishing was going to be slow and offered an alternative date. We decided to stay with this date and was glad we did. My wife caught her first salmon, a beautiful 20lb. fish. My grandson did not catch a salmon but was treated with kindness and encouragement that will make him want to go back. He did catch two squaw fish. Thank you Jerry!!!!

What's biting with Jerry Frye NorCal Guide in Redding

Those huge Chinook Salmon can still be found throughout the Sac River, and you'll be able to target both Coho and Chinook varieties in the Trinity. Fishing for Rainbow and Brown Trout remains strong.
