Join Capt. Ricky or Capt. Matt and 1st. Mate Garren aboard 'Hound Dawg', a 48' Viking sport fishing boat. She's quite spacious, able to hold 6 anglers fishing at the same time without bumping elbows. She's quite comfortable, so you can relax and just focus on the perfect cast. A fully air-conditioned cabin will keep you cool. Added comfort comes from a full-head toilet, brand new indoor couch and seating, and brand new carpet and counter tops.
She's seriously equipped for sportfishing too. Outriggers will extend your reach when trolling, while a live bait tank makes sure your bait stays active and appetizing. A fighting chair will give you support as you battle big boys offshore. Her brand new 2021 dual 625 FPT engines allow you to cruise at a maximum speed of 28 knots, impressive for a vessel her size.
Capt. Ricky will take you after a variety of gorgeous fish. You'll troll for Kingfish and Sailfish, bottom fish for Groupers, and also do some spinning and drift fishing. You can even do some kite fishing for Marlin! You will be provided with all the required equipment by the captain.
There is a first mate on board to clean and fillet your catch, also to assist you in any way possible. He works for tips and a 20% tip is customary.

I have to start with Thank you. There are certain things that words cannot convey. Thank you doesn't do it justice. 3 minutes into this boarding we all felt welcomed and confident. All the fishing charters take you fishing, but we had to stop catching. Capt. Rick and Garren are great hosts and as professional as they come. It's hard to believe they had time to be hosts, as hard as they worked. We fished with them, but I also believe we have friends we will see again! The boat had ample space for fishing, chilling, and napping. You took 6 people away from any noise they had going on in their lives for two days! Salud! See you again...

Just want to come on here and say captain Rick does not disappoint. I told him before hand what we wanted to target and you can bet they were in the boat in no time. Ricks communication prior to the trip was excellent. His crew Garren and Ray were absolutely top notch, they were both knowledgeable and very patient with my daughter throughout the full day trip. The boat was absolutely amazing equipped with A/C and a toilet when you needed a break. Hound Dawg will put you on the fish! Thank you Rick, Garren and Ray for everything we will be back in the future. You will not be disappointed when you book this charter, they absolutely made this a trip that I will never forget with my daughter.

The captain and his first mate were awesome! We discussed fishing plans for the day before we left and had a great day out on the water catching tuna and mahi mahi. We definitely plan on going out with them again when we are back in town!
