Captain Eric was born and raised in Islamorada, five generations strong. He’s been fishing the local waters for more than 25 years, mostly targeting species such as Bonefish, Permit, Snook, Redfish and Tarpon, and has also been successfully involved in a variety of local fishing tournaments, including the Redbone Celebrity Tournament, Islamorada Sailfish, The Backcountry Challenge and many others. Captain Scoble’s expertise isn’t limited only to the Keys either; he’s done lots of trips to the Bahamas and back on a variety of private boats.
When it comes to fishing the Keys, the options aplenty. You can fish inshore around the island, or take a trip into the Everglades National Park which is vibrant with wildlife. At the end of the day, whatever type of trip you choose, Eric wants to make sure it is an experience you will not forget. Captain Eric was a blast. Fun, friendly and very knowledgeable. He put us on fish straight away and took us to some very secluded “not your normal flats” locations. We got a late start due to weather but enjoyed talking with other captains and anglers in the mean time. Captain Eric made up for the lost time and we were thankful for the cloudy day! We will definitely be rebooking.

Capt. Eric was very knowlegable about the fishing waters and how to catch the fish we were after. He was very helpful and enjoyed answering our questions, he even made the pinpoint cast for my wife when needed. He was very pleasant and provided great customer service. We had a great time.
When I come back for my tarpon I will be calling Capt. Eric

Capt Eric was a pleasure to fish with, very friendly and we got on really well. The tackle was good quality and in good condition. Unfortunately the fishing was slow, but the weather was very unpredictable and conditions weren’t ideal. Even so Capt Eric tried his hardest to locate the intended species, Tarpon and Permit. I managed to land a small Bonnet Head shark, a good Jack Crevalle approx. 25lbs and got bitten off and lost several other fish. The overall day was a great experience and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Capt Eric Scoble for a day’s fishing in the Key’s.
