Cool Cat Charters is there for anglers who want to explore local waters and see what's biting. Captain Chris Prince will put you on the fish, and he'll do his best so that you have a great time while you're chasing that big catch.
You'll be having your fishing adventure on board the 30' Cobia 296, center console model from 2014. It can take on groups of up to 6 guests. The boat is powered by a double Yamaha engine with 300 hp and it can reach speeds of 50 kn. You'll be quickly navigating from one hot spot to another. For your optimal fishing experience, fishfinding equipment is available, and you can use the downriggers.
This charter covers nearshore and offshore areas which include reef and wreck locations. The fish is biting all year round, it's just the question of which species are in season. Generally, the summer months are the most action-packed. You can target Kingfish, Snapper, and several types of Shark and Grouper. You can go after these beauties using light and heavy tackle, bottom and deep sea fishing, trolling, and spinning.
Don't fret about your South Carolina fishing license, as the charter's got you covered. As for the necessary fishing gear, lures, and bait, they will be waiting for you. For a more comfortable trip, you can use the onboard toilet. If you get lucky, you can keep the catch. What's more, the crew will help you clean it and prepare it. Children are welcome.

From the greeting, catching bait, and dropping the bait down into the depths.... Captain Chris was absolutely fun to fish with. As a tournament bass angler, I know the ins and outs, and work involved in catering to others needs and experiences on the water.. I was very impressed with this mans knowledge and professionalism. We were hooked up on our first of MANY fish on the very first bait drop. And the action didnt end until we headed back in. *NOTE* -The "shark show" was an added bonus, which we all thoroughly enjoyed. So, If you're thinking about hiring a charter, I woud not hesitate to recommend booking with this man. We had a very successful fishing trip. Captain Chris was awesome, explaining what he was doing and different ways to catch fish. He was very informative and a great fit for our group. We were able to catch our bait fish quite quickly and then headed out. When we got to our location it didn’t take long before the action started. We were able to hook on to several sharks and quite a few Cobia. We tried a couple different locations and Captain Chris was showing us how he reads his equipment and the stories behind the sites. Would definitely book another trip!!

Had a great morning out. Capt Chris (Bubba) was great with our boys. He was always working the various rods to give us the best shot at catching fish in what would’ve otherwise been a very slow day. Would definitely book with him again.
