The Fish Tales fleet currently consists of 4 boats, and Captain Pete Wallace invites you to spend a perfect day out on his 24' center console, a real beauty. Manufactured by Carolina Skiff in 2002, this boat was fully refurbished in 2018 so you'll find only top-notch modern accessories on board – from high-quality navigational electronics to safety equipment.
It also has a canopy top for keeping you shaded, cushioned seating area for resting while you're waiting for fish to bite. The vessel is roomy enough to accommodate up to 6 anglers, but the maximum number of passengers depends on the type of the trip.
All the trips include the use of top-quality fishing gear, lures, and live bait (caught during the trip). The first mate will be assisting you with everything – he'll even clean and fillet your delicious catch after the trip is over. All you have to do is book a trip and experience Chincoteague Island from a unique point of view!

Our Capt. Jed and first mate Jordan were awesome! They were personable, knowledgeable, answered all of our questions, and were very funny! Our 3 girls had never fished before and they were very patient with all of them and joked around and made them comfortable. We caught a few itty bitty fish that we had to release, and came home with a LOT of clams! I would recommend this trip to everyone and we will 100% be back next year!
My desire was action for my son to maybe fuel and further a more mutual passion amongst us for future trips. The crew delivered! we caught over 2 dozen blues and a blue runner to boot! Great conversation and professionalism. I hope to see them again, with a different time line and different species.

I am so grateful for the crew and captain for our fishing trip! Just wonderful people overall. They went above and beyond, and were so wonderful with my children. We made memories that will last a lifetime. We also learned some very valuable life skills as well, like catching clams, crabs, and mussles. Can’t wait to come back!
wonderful trip and dinner too!!

Jed was our captain. he was the BEST.
