Captain Pete's Fish Tales 

we have been coming to Chincoteague for 7 years, and we have had the pleasure of booking with Captain Pete's Fishtales 5 of those years. They are always outstanding to do business with. we have booked Ll of the adventures, and have enjoyed all of them, whether we caughtfish or not. The crew alays make the trip. We have ha Captain Andrew and Captain Jed several times now, and it is always an awes experience. Today we did a 4 hour shark adventure with Captain Jed. Although we did not catch any sharks, it was exciting when the lines got a hit and dragged. All members of our party caught 4 or more fish, which definitely made the experience so much more fun. At the end of the day, we all walked away with a smile on our face.

We had a great time shark fishing. We went on a 4-hour outing with Jeb (the captain) 8am-12pm. We caught Kingfish, Spot, Trout, and Croaker. Actually, we had such a good time with Jeb. we asked if we could take the next spot from 1pm-5pm. On this trip, we caught more of the same. The weather went a little sideways for a moment but ended up clearing out fast. We would absolutely recommend Captain Petes Fish Tales to anyone who loves fishing and enjoys great conversation with a very knowledgeable and friendly captain (Jeb).

My Marine Corps friends and I took this fishing trip back in 2019 and had a blast. This time in 2026 the kids were older and we took them with us and had even more fun! We went caught some crabs, then went fishing for flounder, then did some clam digging and picked up some muscles. We caught some skates and caught some flounder that was big enough to keep. We look forward to doing this trip again next time we come down. Highly recommend it!

Got on some massive (at least to me) Sharks, picked up some Mackerel and Kingfish as well. My daughter and wife loved seeing the dolphins. overall great time. Cap and Mate definitely knew what they were doin and very easy going. I'll definitely re-book.

We had an amazing experience with Captain Andrew and Ashley! They were friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable from the moment we stepped on board. They put us right on the fish and made the whole trip fun and easy. Their passion and care for their guests really stood out. Highly recommend this crew if you’re looking for a great fishing charter. What an incredible fishing trip! In just four hours, we landed five big sharks ranging from about 4 to 6 feet long, along with smaller fish throughout the day. The action was nonstop, the weather was great, and the captain made the experience even better. It was an absolute blast from start to finish. If you're looking for an exciting fishing adventure, I highly recommend it. We can't wait to go again!

The off shore experience was incredible! Captain Andrew and first mate Jordan were wonderful. We were able to check crab traps, fish, go clamming, and find mussels. Captain Andrew also took special time to find dolphins for the kids to see! Jordan and Andrew were both AMAZING with the kids, while also making sure the adults had a good trip too. I cannot recommend this crew enough for a family day trip out on the water!

We had a great time; we were consistently catching smaller fish to keep things interesting while we waited for the sharks. We got one nice hammerhead and had another big shark run off on us. Thanks for a fun day!

the crew was extremely knowledgeable and friendly and kept us laughing and talking the whole time. they definitely aim to please. Even after a good day of fishing they kept us out slightly longer for the dolphins giving a show. they brought us right up and on them as the jumped and flipped through the water before taking us back to the marina and cleaning our catch.

Jed and Jordan were so friendly, funny and knowledgeable! We had experiences never had before and made core memories that won’t be forgotten! Looking forward to our catch in a seafood feast!
