Give U-hook-um Fishing Charters a try if you are looking for a relaxing and productive adventure in Crystal River. Join Captain Don Adams for a fun day out on the water and let him put his two decades of experience to work for you.
Beginner to pro, everyone is welcome to join in the adventure. Even if you have never held a fishing rod in your hands before, you don’t have to worry. Bring your fishing buddy, your child, or a colleague and explore the inshore waters from the comfort of your own boat. Get your hands on Redfish, Trout, Snook, and Cobia.
The vessel you’ll be fishing on is a 20’ Tide Water center console, out of the box in 2012. It is a spacious boat that has plenty of room for up to 2 anglers. It comes powered by a 115 HP Mercury engine and outfitted with modern electronics.
The boat is rigged with a wireless trolling motor for a quiet ride, as well as quality gear, tackle, and snorkeling equipment for the scalloping trips.
Speaking of which – if you don’t feel like fishing, try scalloping! You will feel like a real underwater hunter. It’s fun for the whole family!
All rods, reels, tackle, lures, bottled water, ice, and licenses are provided. Please note that no GPS device are allowed onboard, and the mobile phones will be turned off during the trip.

Great Day Fishing with Captain Don

Very nice trip to celebrate our 48th Wedding Anniversary..... Caught a variety of fish with a couple just under the size limit and many smaller ones. Captain Don was great as he imparted his fishing knowledge on us and was very accommodating really making the misses feel comfortable and making the trip quite enjoyable. Would recommend Don if you're looking for a nice trip out on the water. We look forward to going back in the fall when the weather is cooler as the heat index was over 100 degrees by later morning hours.

Had a great day fishing with my brother-in-law Mike we fished with Captain Dan and had a great time caught many species of fish took home around 10 different fish everything from a 25-in redfish to a bunch of blowfish Spanish mackerel and a variety of other fish species would highly recommend Captain Dan to anybody who's ever going to fish out of Crystal River had a great time and thanks again to the captain

Day trip with Capt. Don

My wife and I spent the day with Capt. Don scalloping and fishing. He was a delight to be with all day. Was respectful, courteous and patient with my wife. His boat and gear were clean and in excellent working order. He tried very hard to put us on scallops and fish, and was very safety conscious. We were blessed with good weather and the whole experience was top notch. We will go out with him again when the opportunity arises.

Had a great time with Jeff and Stephen from PA. Missed the tides for reds, but tried anyway with no fish. Went out 7 miles and caught various types of fish. Caught trout, mangrove snapper, porgies, seabass, lizardfish, blowfish and pinfish. Missed two keepers at the boat but still managed to get 3 keeper trout, some grunts and a blowfish (Chicken of the sea). Saw dolphins, a shark, sea turtles and a big sheephead while fishing. Glad you enjoyed the charter and look forward to doing it again. Until we meet again may you have tight lines and calm seas.
