With Green Creek Outfitters fishing out of Wrightsville Beach is absolutely spectacular. They specialize in sight fishing with light tackle and can take you anywhere from the ocean and inlets out to 60 miles offshore. Your captain, Guion Lee III is a proud father of 3 boys. He is a knowledgeable guide and a patient teacher who will show you how to make a great catch possible.
Expect to have fun fishing for giant Flounder, Redfish, Cobia, Spanish, and King Mackerel, mahi, grouper, snappers or fill your cooler bottom fishing offshore to the Gulf Stream. The crew services Wilmington, Figure Eight Island, Wrightsville Beach, and Carolina Beach.
All of that magic takes place aboard a 24' Custom Pair center console with a custom sight tower built in 2021. This spacious boat can accommodate up to 4 anglers to fish in comfort and style. It comes powered by a 350 HP Suzuki engine and rigged with modern electronics, and Daiwa reels, Shimano rods, and other professional accessories. The vessel is also equipped with an ice-box for the catch and a livewell loaded with bait to make sure nothing can resist your hooks.
All you have to do is bring your lunch or snacks with you and get ready to wet a line!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an incredible experience with Green Creek Outfitters! From the moment we got on the boat, the captain was professional, knowledgeable, and worked hard to put us on the fish. We caught plenty of fish, had an amazing time, and learned a lot throughout the trip. The equipment was in great condition, the boat was clean, and the entire trip was well organized. You can tell they genuinely care about making sure everyone has a memorable experience, whether you’re an experienced angler or it’s your first time fishing. If you’re looking for a fun, successful fishing trip with a great guide, I highly recommend Green Creek Outfitters. We’ll definitely be booking another trip!

We had the best time on our fishing charter with Captain Guion! He went above and beyond to make the trip extra special for our kids. He knew the exact spot to go so they could catch a lot of fish, and he talked about each different species of fish as the kids reeled them in. He also took us to the tide pools on a barrier island to explore the marine wildlife, which we all loved — both kids said it was their favorite part of our entire beach vacation! Captain Guion was knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely fun. We can’t recommend him enough and will definitely be booking with him again next time we’re in the area. We had an absolutely fantastic trip with Captain Guion! We booked the “Cooler Buster” trip, and it definitely lived up to its name. We caught over 20 fish and filled the cooler! Captain Guion was knowledgeable, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure everyone had a great experience. When I started feeling a little seasick, he was incredibly accommodating and even let me ride in the captain’s seat for the ride back. He provided bottled water, helped filet our fish at the end of the day, and never made us feel rushed. One of the highlights of the trip was spotting a pod of dolphins on the ride back. Captain Guion slowed down so we could enjoy the moment, which was such a special touch and made the experience even more memorable. From start to finish, everything was top-notch. We had an amazing day on the water, caught plenty of fish, and made some great memories. We will absolutely be booking with Captain Guion again. Highly recommend!

We had an awesome time fishing with Guion! He was fantastic with my son and made the trip special by taking the time to teach him about every fish he caught. His patience, knowledge, and enthusiasm made it a great experience for us. If you’re looking for a guide who not only puts you on fish but also makes the trip fun and educational, I highly recommend Guion. Great time, great guy. We’ll definitely be back!

We took our 8 year old out for a couple hours and Guion did an awesome job! Our son caught a few different types of fish and then we stopped and got out for him to experience the tidal pools. Guion has lived there almost his whole life so he knows every spot and what he needs to do to keep kids entertained. We hope to go back to Wilmington for an adult fishing trip with him too!
