There's plenty to go after in the waters around Orange Beach. Close to the beaches, you can go after Red and Black Drum, as well as Tarpon. Head a bit further away from the coast and the catch list expands with Kingfish, Cobia, Groupers, Permit, Snappers, Bluefish, and many other species.
Capt. Rob will provide you with all the fishing gear you may need on this fishing excursion. Remember to pack a cooler to take your hard-fought catch home with you, the captain will even clean and fillet it free of charge. My husband and I had the best trip and experience during our 4 hour morning trip!! Reds, blues, sharks… it was the BEST! We had enough keepers for a few meals at home, too!! We also threw back a few monsters that were exquisite and beautiful. Captain Rob shared so many helpful tips and tricks, and was so gracious - baiting hooks, and taking care of the fish once we landed them. Coming back again as soon as we can!!! Thanks, Captain!!!
If you’re trying to decide which fishing charter to book, stop looking and book with Rob! We had an incredible time from start to finish. Rob is one of the most down-to-earth, knowledgeable guides we’ve ever met, and he made the entire trip fun for both the adults and the kids. Our kids, caught fish all morning! Rob was so patient with them, helping hook the fish and then letting them reel them in themselves so they got the full experience. He took the time to teach them about the fish and the water, which made the trip even more memorable. My husband, Jake, even hooked an absolute monster! It was so big we had to throw it back, but it was easily one of the highlights of the day. You can tell Rob genuinely loves what he does, and he works hard to make sure everyone on the boat has a great time. We caught plenty of fish, learned a lot, laughed the whole trip, and made memories our family will never forget. We would 100% book with Rob again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for an amazing day on the water!
My 10-year-old son and I had a great time fishing with Captain Rob. We started our trip on the Alabama side, where we were able to catch our own live bait, which was a fun experience in itself. Once we got out on the water, the conditions were pretty choppy, so Captain Rob made the decision to move us over to the Florida side where the water was much better for fishing. The move paid off! My son was thrilled to catch four fish and was able to keep two of them. I also managed to catch a small catfish. By the end of the trip, we brought home a catfish and a snapper. Captain Rob even cleaned and filleted our fish for us, which was a nice bonus. Throughout the trip, Captain Rob was very knowledgeable and informative about the local area and fishing conditions. He made the experience enjoyable and educational, especially for my son. The only thing that would have made the trip even better would have been catching a few more fish, but overall we had a great experience and made some wonderful memories together.
Captain Rob messaged me night before our trip that was booked for 12:00pm next day and wanted to move the trip to 10:30am to beat some of the heat! we met at the marina and it was like reconnecting with a life long friend you had not seen in years. We steadily caught fish the whole time we were on the water. Captain was very friendly and knowledgable and was all around a great guy to go fish with. 5 stars is not enough. 10/10 recommend booking a trip with Rob’s inshore fishing!
captain great! put us on massive redfish right off the bat! we caught 12 redfish over 26” so had to toss them back but got one at 25”! kids had a blast this dude is really good. we didnt got fishing we went “catching” 2 hour trip felt like minutes as poles were bent every 5 minutes
