Mark The Shark - 50' Striker 1
If you’ve been looking for a fishing trip in Miami, the name Mark the Shark must have come up at least a dozen times. Captain Mark has been on a number of TV shows where he spoke about his shark fishing adventures and is very well known among locals. The main locations his charter covers are Miami (including Miami Beach), Fort Lauderdale, as well as surrounding areas. He runs an all-inclusive charter and is happy to welcome all anglers, no matter whether they are novices or pros.
The boat you will be fishing on is a 50’ Hatteras, and you’ll see from the photos that she’s a real beauty. A boat this big needs a lot of power, which is why it’s equipped with two 600 HP Detroit Diesel engines. Apart from all the necessary safety and navigation gear, the boat also has an air-conditioned cabin and private head to ensure your stay is as comfortable as possible.
Captain Mark will usually take you fishing from around a mile from shore, which is a ten-minute ride from the coast. Deep sea fishing is great out there, so expect to see plenty of Sailfish, Wahoo, Red Snapper, as well as a variety of Sharks, of course. Fly fishing and spearfishing gear can also be found onboard, so feel free to use what makes you the most comfortable.
The price of any trip includes rods, reels, and terminal tackle, as well as the necessary fishing licenses, a frameable 8x10 glossy photo of your trophy fish, video, and a souvenir shark tooth. Children of all ages are welcome, and you can also bring your pet if you like. Don’t miss a chance to see why Mark the Shark is not just a name, but a brand we all know and love.

The captain has a very peculiar attitude to the tips. Despite of the fact that the deposit for fisingbooker was paid, the final payment from the card was charged the full cost of the trip, and the question “what about the deposit?” received the answer - “thanks for 20% of the gratuity.” At the same time on the trip we did not catch anything, and there was no reason for any kind of a gratuity.
So remember the unfair game of capitan with the price! The real price is 20% more than stated on the site!

We haven’t fished any fish but this can happen.
The captain decided to stay more time than agreed on the boat to try to catch something, and it’s been very kind from him.
But we paid $ 700 to stay on an old and quite dirty boat (no tap on the sink of the bathroom!).
The fishing equipment was old and cheap.
Not even one bottle of mineral water included in the price.
An unlucky day.

Your ” girl” ( jury is still out) companion NEVER even left the cabin all day and didn’t even talk to any of our crew! Thank GOD we don’t get many clients like you!Filippo Baccalaro does not recommend Mark The Shark - 50' Striker 1
