Top targets include Mahi Mahi, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Wahoo, Sailfish, Mutton Snapper, Yellowtail Snapper, Black Grouper, Swordfish, Cobia, and more with any luck. For these species, you’re likely to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle. Capt. Scott can also help you try kite fishing.

If you’re traveling with the family, you will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! If you don’t have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there’s one on board. Also, remember to bring snacks so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty belly!

Capt. Scott runs a 33’ SeaVee walkaround with room for 6 passengers. It has outriggers, downriggers, and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. Capt. Scott will supply rods and reels for you.

There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. A 10–20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work.

There’s no need to buy a fishing license, so you can drive right over and come aboard without any hassle! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish. It’s never a bad idea to bring sunblock (non-spray), a hat, bottled water, and sunglasses. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
