Task Force Fishing Charters welcome you to the Florida Gulf Coast, a fisherman’s paradise. Come fish Charlotte Harbor and Gasparilla Sound in Boca Grande, world-famous fisheries and home to some of the best inshore game fishing on the coast. Captain Mike Downs is committed to providing you with a productive and enjoyable fishing experience!

You’ll be fishing aboard a 22’ Shearwater bay boat powered by a 200 HP Suzuki engine, comfortably accommodating four anglers. The boat is equipped with top-notch GPS/fishfinder, wireless trolling motor, livewells, safety equipment, gear storage, and a spacious deck for plenty of casting room.

Captain Mike is a third-generation Floridian who has fished the Gulf coast waters his entire life. He is passionate about fishing and the outdoors, and above all, introducing anglers, families, and visitors to these unique, beautiful waters he calls home.

He will do his best to put you on Snook, Redfish, Tarpon, Trout, Snapper, and more. Your adventure can start from either Punta Gorda or Placida — it’s entirely up to your preference. You’ll be using light tackle custom Reaper Rods ans Shimano reels.

Fishing licenses, gear, bait, a cooler with ice are all courtesy of Task Force Fishing Charters at no added costs. Bring a hat, sunglasses, food, drinks, and sunscreen. The captain will clean your catch if you’d like to take fresh fillets home.

There’s no age limit, so this is a perfect chance to take your little ones on their first fishing trip. Just bring life jackets for them and let them fall in love with inshore fishing!
