This is the perfect charter for more experienced anglers who are looking to test their skills and wits against various hard-fighting deep-sea species. Let the battle begin!
You’ll be heading out on your adventure in a 36’ Trojan. She can comfortably accommodate 5 anglers, and is powered by two 265 HP Yamaha engines. All anglers will be able to fish at the same time, unless you’re trolling the waters, as this is limited to four anglers at once — the perfect opportunity for you and a friend to sit back, relax, and let the fish take center stage!
The Limit cruises along at 25 knots, meaning that your captain will get you on the fish nice and quickly, allowing maximum time for reeling in your big catch. Fancy something a bit different? They provide spearfishing equipment, so if you’d like a story to tell, this might be for you. Just make sure you let him know in advance that you’d like to experience this type of fishing on your trip.
If you’re a slightly less experienced angler, then your captain is more than happy to bring you on board and introduce you to the waters that he knows so well. His local trips targeting inshore species like Yellowtail and Halibut are perfect for a family holiday to remember. Kids are more than welcome onboard, just make sure that you bring along a life jacket for any children under six years old.
All fishing equipment, including live bait, is included in your trip, and your captain will happily clean and fillet your catch on the boat. All you need to do is purchase your daily fishing license, bring along some suncream and your favorite snacks, and get ready to work your magic on The Limit!

Great PM Bay trip
Half Day Trip (PM) on November 13, 2022
Had a great time with Captain Gerald and Lowel. We booked this PM trip last minute after another charter had to cancel due to mechanical issues. They were quick to accommodate and get us all taken care of. Not a lot of bites, but that was more due to season and time of day. But our sons still both hauled in fish, including two sharks! Gerry and Lowel were both very knowledgeable and great with the boys. Definitely will be booking them for a longer trip when we're back in the future!

Half Day Trip (AM) on October 8, 2022
Great experience on the boat with Captain Ross and his young First Mate. Only caught a few fish but had a ton of fun going out into the ocean and fishing off La Jolla and Mission Bay, then coming into the harbor and fishing all around the navy ships. Did a great tour of the Coronado bridge and the city shoreline! Wish it was more of the fishing season and we had caught more fish, plenty of nibbling, but only a few bites. Overall would recommend!

Great Experience with a Very Experienced and helpful Captain
Half Day Trip – Local Offshore (PM) on June 27, 2020
Jeff was our Captain for the day and he was awesome. He taught my son and me all about fishing the SD Bay and was very patient as he did. Jeff's knowledge of the local area made it easy for my son to destroy me in our fishing competition and it sent us home with plenty of halibut to eat. The Witchy Woman is an extremely fast and stable boat, and it handled the rougher water of the day without issue. I would have zero hesitation taking this boat out to the islands or on an all-day tuna trip. Excellent experience and highly recommended to anyone of any level of experience. Thanks, CPT Jeff!!!!
