Samaki II is located in Cancún and offers to show you a memorable time in these waters. As the crew grows its business, it is happy to introduce to you its new boat, the Samaki II. Come enjoy the spectacular Caribbean waters along with its many species available for an amazing fishing experience.

Samaki II is a 40’ Chris-Craft sport fishing boat powered by twin 375 HP Caterpillar engines, completely refurbished in October 2025. This spacious vessel can take up to 10 anglers and it boasts a full dining table/area and a bathroom for your comfort as well. Just as the captain’s other boat, it is equipped with the best fishing technology and electronics, ready to tackle those biggies out there. The boat also comes with a fighting chair and an ice-box.

Capt. Enrique will do his best to make sure you have a fun day full of fishing. This involves 4 to 12-hour trips, mainly fishing for Barracuda, Dolphin, Sailfish, Amberjack, Marlin, and King Mackerel, depending on the season and conditions on the day. On these trips, you can expect to use techniques such as bottom fishing, trolling, and big game fishing.

All rods, reels, and terminal tackle are included in the price so you can focus on what really matters, fishing. Your trip will include all the necessary fishing licenses for the day. The crew will clean and fillet your catch for you to take home at the end of the trip. The boat will be supplied with snacks and drinks for your pleasure, be sure to let the captain know if you have any questions or want to bring your own.

When paying the remaining balance with a credit card, an additional 5% charge will apply.

A $10 dock fee applies to all trips.

Best Fishing Adventure!

We highly recommend Enrique and his team. It was very easy to chat with Enrique prior to the trip with any questions and he responded immediately. The boat had everything you need for a good day of fishing. We weren't able to bring food and I asked Enrique if he could supply us with sandwiches and he put together an excellent lunch for us. We asked to fish for barracuda and caught 7! It was so exciting and everything we were hoping for. Thank you to Entique's team for an amazing memorable experience! We highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for an ocean fishing experience.

What a great time!

We had a great day with Captain Enrique and his crew. We arrived a little early, prepared to wait, but the crew was ready to go, which we appreciated! I have not spent much time fishing, but the first mate and other captain told me exactly what I needed to do. If you have never fished, this is still an adventure you can participate in because the crew is so helpful. We ended up catching 14 baraccuda and had a fantastic time. We will definitely book with Captain Enrique again if we get the opportunity!

Excellent Experience – Perfect for Our Big Family Group

We had a great experience with Capt. Enrique and his crew, Juan and Luis. They were all incredibly nice, patient, and accommodating throughout the trip. Fishing was a bit slow due to the time of year, but they worked hard to put us on fish, and we still managed to reel in a couple of nice ones. We had a large group—me, my four sons, two of their girlfriends, my daughter, and her boyfriend—so it was no small task to keep everyone engaged and taken care of. Capt. Enrique and his crew did a fantastic job making sure everyone felt included and had a good time. Their effort and hospitality really made the trip memorable for all of us.

Great fishing experience overall. We wanted to catch fish, and the crew made sure we caught plenty! The crew on board are true professionals and clearly very experienced. The boat was very clean and spacious, with plenty of room for everyone. I give 4 out of 5 stars because unfortunately the crew did not really speak English, so I had to keep my questions to myself as they didn't understand them. Also, for snacks there were only very small bags of chips, and no sandwiches as mentioned in the description. However, there were plenty of drinks available. I highly recommend this team if you're looking for a memorable and high-quality fishing trip.

Did a 6 hour trip on the smaller boat

The team did a great job of rescheduling the trip to a day later because i was sick but let Samaki know hours ahead of tbe trip and they went to extra lengths to acvomodate me a day later and not cancel so much appreciated. Then we finally arrived for the trip and there are a few logistics getting in the marina (V & V Marina) and to the boat. I would recommend trying to be there no later than 30 minutes early coordinated with the crew of course and allowing extra time for using a credit card to pay the balance. Otherwise you will cut into your own fishing time. In this case it didnt matter bevause its about an hours drive to tbeir offshore fishing spot and the first "live bait" hit water and witbin five minutes we hooked up a very nice sailfish in May MUCH later than the regular season. The crew did a good job getting it in the boat, photos and releasing it. We hooked three barracudas and landed two but one got away right at the boat. That was the only blemish, to me if you are keeping a fish, gaff it and get it in the boat dont try to swing a barracuda in but im just a rookie lol. The fact we landed tbe sail in mid May erases all else lol It was a perfect day calm seas lots of sun and three very nice fish. When I fish in Cancun I will always choose Samaki, for me they give the best expeeience and value and I highly recommend them.
