Samaki II is located in Cancún and offers to show you a memorable time in these waters. As the crew grows its business, it is happy to introduce to you its new boat, the Samaki II. Come enjoy the spectacular Caribbean waters along with its many species available for an amazing fishing experience.

Samaki II is a 40' Chris-Craft sport fishing boat powered by twin 375 HP Caterpillar engines, completely refurbished in October 2025. This spacious vessel can take up to 10 anglers and it boasts a full dining table/area and a bathroom for your comfort as well. Just as the captain's other boat, it is equipped with the best fishing technology and electronics, ready to tackle those biggies out there. The boat also comes with a fighting chair and an ice-box.

Capt. Enrique will do his best to make sure you have a fun day full of fishing. This involves 4 to 12-hour trips, mainly fishing for Barracuda, Dolphin, Sailfish, Amberjack, Marlin, and King Mackerel, depending on the season and conditions on the day. On these trips, you can expect to use techniques such as bottom fishing, trolling, and big game fishing.

All rods, reels, and terminal tackle are included in the price so you can focus on what really matters, fishing. Your trip will include all the necessary fishing licenses for the day. The crew will clean and fillet your catch for you to take home at the end of the trip. The boat will be supplied with snacks and drinks for your pleasure, be sure to let the captain know if you have any questions or want to bring your own.

awesome trip!

What an incredible day on the water! Huge thanks to Russell, Lucero, and Juan for putting us right on the fish from the start. These guys worked hard all day to keep us on the bite, and it paid off big time. We ended up catching a pile of bonito, a nice grouper, and two great snapper to top it off.

What really set this trip apart was the service and hospitality. On the ride back to the marina, the crew prepared fresh sashimi from our catch, and it was absolutely outstanding. It doesn't get much better than enjoying fresh fish while cruising back after a successful day on the water.

If you're looking for a knowledgeable, hardworking crew that knows where the fish are and goes above and beyond to make sure everyone has a great experience, I highly recommend fishing with Russell, Lucero, and Juan. We'll definitely be back!

Great trip!

6 Hour Trip - 1:00 PM on May 24, 2026 • 3 adults

We started off the trip catching bait fish, reeling Bonitas in three at a time! The water was a little rock-n-roll in deeper water and my teen got a little sick! The Captain made a suggestion to go back to shallow water and this was a good option. The water was calmer and we started catching Barracudas! My son reeled in a big one that measured 58" and probably sixty plus pounds! 

The Captain kept us on the fish and the deck hands worked their tails off keeping lines in the water! There were times when we were reeling in more than one fish at a time! They had plenty of cold drinks and made sure we felt welcome onboard! 

We used Uber to and from the marina which was around $55 round trip total and about 25-30 min from the North Central end of the Hotel District. Cell Phones work once you get back to the marina gate! There is a security gate to get into the resort/marina, don't let them try to drop you off outside the gate, its still a 1/4 mile to the marina! 

We will definitely be back and in search of a Mahi-mahi next time! Just no ice cream for the kid pre-trip next time!

Great experience with Samaki II Charters Cancún! From start to finish, the crew was professional and knowledgeable.

We were lucky enough to land one tuna and three sailfish. The captain and crew worked nonstop—great communication, excellent teamwork, and they made sure everyone onboard had a chance to be part of the action.

The boat was clean, well-equipped, and comfortable, and the crew made the trip both exciting and safe. Whether you're an experienced angler or a first-timer, this charter delivers.

Best Fishing Adventure!

We highly recommend Enrique and his team.  It was very easy to chat with Enrique prior to the trip with any questions and he responded immediately. The boat had everything you need for a good day of fishing. We weren't able to bring food and I asked Enrique if he could supply us with sandwiches and he put together an excellent lunch for us. We asked to fish for barracuda and caught 7! It was so exciting and everything we were hoping for. Thank you to Entique's team for an amazing memorable experience! We highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for an ocean fishing experience.
