The Purple Jet Fleet of vessels are fully outfitted with everything you need for a productive day on the water. Featuring top-notch navigational and fishfinding electronics to build up a clear image of where the big fish are hiding. The Purple Jet has all the comforts of home, from 4 spacious bunks to a restroom and an air-conditioned cabin. The larger vessels have spacious cabins, plenty of outside seating, the only thing missing is you!
Check the bite close to shore and get your hands on Striped Bass, Bluefish, Flounder, and Seabass. Head a bit further out and target Cod, Sharks, and other species that patrol the offshore waters.
But if you are looking for something a bit more extreme, let the crew take you to the canyons up to 100 miles out. There, you will be able to hone your angling skills and try chunking and trolling for Yellowfin, Bigeye, and Albacore Tuna, as well as Swordfish and Mahi Mahi.
All gear, tackle, and bait will be provided for your party. All you have to do is pack your lunch and drinks and show up!

In total we caught about 30 fish in a 4-hour trip. He taught the kids the different types of fish, bait and techniques. It was a great experience.

Unfortunately, the ocean was a bit choppy that day but the captain and crew did a wonderful job making it an awesome and fun experience. I would do it again in a minute. I started fishing with my father as a little boy and continued as a captain after graduating from the University of San Diego in 1990. In 1997, the first Purple Jet arrived and we have been putting smiles on customers' faces ever since! The Queen Mary Open Party Fishing boat became part of the fleet in 2011.
