Regardless of your skill level Captain Robert Henn will take you under his wing and he’ll share his vast fishing experience with you.
Welcome aboard the airconditioned 60ft Vima Craft. It can take up to 60 people. The boat is fitted with a twin Detroit Diesel engines . For your maximum fishing experience, there’s fishfinding equipment, radar and gps.
This charter covers inshore and midshore areas which include wreck location. Though fish bites all year round, winter is the slowest period, and some species aren’t always available. Generally, you can encounter delicious Flounder, Striped Bass, and depending on the season even Black Seabass and Cod. You can use several fishing techniques like light and heavy tackle, deep-sea fishing, and drift fishing.
Don’t worry about the fishing gear and live bait as it will be waiting for you on board. What’s more, the charter’s got you covered with a New Jersey fishing license. In case you get lucky it’s up to you whether you’ll keep or release your catch. If you do keep it, the crew will happily help you with cleaning. Have in mind that alcohol is not allowed, with anexception of small quantities of beer.

From the moment I booked our trip to when we docked the boat after fishing it was a great experience with Capt Rob. We fished and caught fish all day. Capt Rob made sure we got on the fish. 1st mate Bob was by far the best and most knowledgeable fisherman I’ve ever met. He made sure every need was tended to. My three sons and I had an incredible day out and will be back soon. We highly recommend Ebbtide Charters to anyone planning to fish the Jersey coast.

We took a chance today and ended with beautiful weather, a good crew, happy faces, and a good dinner! It was our last family fishing before one of us heads to The US Military Academy West Point and another of us heads to Air Force Officer training. Thank you Captain Bob and First Mate Frank for putting smiles on my three son's faces as they caught fluke, sea bass, ling, sea robins, and sand sharks!

mate Mike tries shaking us down for more money after already leaving a 20% tip. doesnt say thank you. “I’ll take whatever you got” he say on too of some other begging techniques. get lost Mike. crew also bitched about captain to the point of irritation.
im very sorry you had to deal with this. i heard today. he tried that on another customer the other. and i let him go today. this is totally unacceptable. i have told him several times already that tips are customary not mandatory
Captain rob did a great job putting us on the fish! He is friendly and easygoing. Everyone in our crew caught multiple fish. It was a good time. If you are thinking of going, I’d suggest taking the ebbtide!

We have been fishing with the Ebbtide several trips,if you truly want a great fishing experience Captain Bob is the man!!! Alot of other boats take you for a cruise Captain BOB PUTS YOU ON THE FISH .....
