Captain Brad’s custom built Dorado is 25 ft inside, with a 27 ft overall length. She cruises at speeds up to 55 knots, getting you to the offshore reefs quickly so you can start fishing early on in your trip. Equipped with navigational systems and a toilet for your convenience, this center console is a beautiful vessel in which you can truly enjoy your fishing trip.
All rods, reels and tackle are supplied on a charter with capt. Brad, and they are always of the highest quality. He uses Shimano tackle and Doa and Yozuri lures as well as Gulp! baits. On an offshore fishing trip with Brad you can expect to be in with a chance of catching Red Snapper, Grouper, Amberjack, Trigger-fish, Cobia, Mahi-mahi, Tarpon, Wahoo, Sharks and more, depending on the conditions and season.
Fishing licenses for all onboard are included, as is full insurance and catch cleaning and filleting. The first make will be on board to help you out with anything you may need during the trip. He works for tips, with 15% being customary for a job well done.

He studies the tides, moon phases, barometric tables, water clarity and winds to put you in the best possible position to get a catch. A full-time professional guide in the area for 11 years, he uses his extensive experience to make sure every trip goes as well as possible. 6 Hour Trip – Deep Sea on May 23, 2019 • 3 adultsWas the longest 6 hours ever, we had 2 hook ups on a Goliath and the 1st the line broke at the pole, and then again in the captains hands (WTF) on the second the wire leader snaps at the hook (this one I could accept). Fishing was so bad the the deckhand wasn’t even catching bait. At hour 5 my buddy catches a giant stingray and at hour 6 at the last second as we were packing up I got a black tip. The reason for the review was not the lack of fish but some of comments and actions of the captain. 1st was the comment “If you let go of the rod, someone’s breaking out the credit card.” 2nd was when my buddy caught a stingray, the captain more concerned about his boat getting scratched then helping. 3rd my girlfriend was seasick the whole time, towards the end I had sprayed sunblock on her legs. This is when things got excited, he went on a rave about how bad spray sunblock is for you and the environment and how it will eat the gel coat off the boat. As this was happening myself and Ryan (deckhand) we’re trying to remove any sunblock on the floor. Look I know this is his boat and this boat is how he makes a living however.....I would think that being so anal would eventually hurt your bottom line. On another note...fishingbooker.com advertises that the boat has a bathroom (LOL) this was the only reason I chose Brads boat since my girlfriend was coming along. The bathroom as advertised was a 5 gallon bucket with a seat. Brad did have a giant beanbag that my girlfriend spent 6 hours on while vomiting into the as advertised “toilet”. But on a serious note the beanbag was of great help.

Captain Brad was born and grew up on a river and was always told by his friends that he should be a captain. He has now been fishing the Florida waters professionally for 17 years around areas such as the world-famous Mosquito Lagoon, the coast line running from Daytona to New Smyrna beach, and offshore deep fishing up to 40 miles. For the last 11 years he has devoted himself full-time to offering guided charters, doing what he loves. He uses all the knowledge he has learnt over the years to make sure you're in with the best possible chance of finding fish.
