Fish-X-TC

Fishing in Lake Michigan has never looked so good. Come trolling and catch your limit of Salmon and Trout in these peaceful waters.

You will spend the day on board the 32’ Chris Craft boat. This recently restored boat can comfortably fit you and 5 fishing friends on board. You’ll have plenty of space to relax while trolling, and then be able to reel in the fish once they start biting.

Trolling is a great fishing technique that allows anglers of all levels of experience to fish. It is known for being very relaxing, so for those that need to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life, this will be the perfect trip for you. There are 3 trips to choose from, from the morning to the evening, so whatever your schedule there will be an opportunity to fish waiting for you.

This boat boasts a 340 HP Mercruiser engine. Coupled with Captain Alonzo Knowle’s decades of experience and the full navigational equipment, you are sure to spend the day on top of the fish. It only takes about fifteen minutes to get onto the fish, leaving you maximum time to troll these waters.

The bathroom and flybridge on board will both be helpful when fishing. You’ll be able to see your prey and fish in comfort! You are welcome to bring along your own drinks. These can be in a small cooler or can be transferred to the cooler on board.

On the menu are King Salmon (Chinook) and Coho Salmon. You will also have the opportunity to catch Lake Trout, as well as a by-catch of Steelhead and Brown Trout. State limits apply for how many you may take home and of what size, but Capt. Alonzo will make sure you are made fully aware of these regulations.

You will use top of the line gear, including Shimano, Daiwa, and Okuma rods and reels. This gear won’t let you down when you are reeling in your trophy fish. Capt. Alonzo will happily fillet your fish at the end of your trip.

There is no better time to book. Come join Fish-X-TC today for an awesome time that you won’t forget in a hurry!

As a youth, having spent all my summers since birth on an island in Northern Ontario, it was either pick blueberries or catch fish. So I chose the latter (ok, maybe I picked a few blueberries too!) When the time was right I hired on at a local lodge and had the good fortune to hone my skills as a guide. Winters were spent in Florida fishing the Gulf Coast waters, including the bays and flats from Tampa Bay to the Florida Keys. Having moved to Traverse City in 1989, I quickly adapted to the cold water fishery that presented itself to me. After years of fishing leagues, tournaments and recreational fishing, I acquired my Captains License and embarked on my re-creation as a guide and charter captain. There has never been another option for me in my spare time and providing these opportunities to others has become an absolute passion!
