Having spent his lifetime fishing Lake Michigan(Traverse City,Frankfort,Leland) and surrounding inland lakes, Captain Jordan can let you know where and when is the best time for any type and species. Capt. Jordan is a USCG Master 100Ton Captain.
On his beautiful Key West expect to go to the best fishing grounds in the area. Flexibility in launching site is key to success and discussed before your date. The Key West Center Console is extremely nice, mobile and comfortable.
Depending on the species you’re after, you may be trolling or jigging. Salmon, Lake trout, Steelhead are species most fished. Jordan also offers cast fishing/trolling for Pike, Bass, Walleye, Panfish and many other inland lake species seasonally. He provides top-of-the-line rods and reels specifically set up for each species. Captain Jordan is well rounded in many types of freshwater species fishing and has the right boat to fit any body of water and angling needs.
Families will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Capt. Jordan prefers you bring your own properly fitting child-sized life jackets, but can provide them by request.
Your boat for the day is a Key West Center Console with room for up to 5 passengers. It comes with rod/reels/downriggers and all the essentials lures/baits. There’s a private console area on board for your bathroom privacy convenience. Your captain will provide all fishing gear needed. You will need to buy a local fishing license before the trip.
A few items to bring include proper clothing, sunglasses and sunblock.. There will be some drinks offered, but bring your own specific favorites. Alcohol is allowed in moderation. Please bring your own food for the day as needed. There is a large cooler onboard for all your drinks and food.

Captain Jordan is incredible. He was seriously focused on giving us the best chance for great fish, and we had action as soon as the first line hit the water. He kept us on big Lake Michigan salmon and moved us to lake trout when the bite slowed late in the morning. He was also a wonderful teacher and very patient with our 9 year old daughter and our 12 year old son. He made them both feel so comfortable and confident, and they landed 6 of our 9 fish. The highlights of our trip were my daughter’s 15lb lake trout and my son’s 20lb salmon. My wife and I will cherish these memories with our kids forever, thanks to Captain Jordan.

What an incredible time my son and I had on this charter! Our fabulous captain knew where to find the fish and we caught some great ones - starting right away with an enormous king salmon and ending with several great sized lake trout! Our captain was also happy to answer all of my questions and was a pleasure to be with. My son is an avid fisherman and was over the moon with the entire experience. Definitely recommend this charter and will definitely be doing it again. It was the highlight of our time in Traverse City!

Captain Jordan took us out on 6/17 in the morning and in a short period of time we were on the fish. The weather was beautiful and we brought in some really great sized lake trout and salmon. One of them was 14lbs! Captain Jordan did a great job explaining everything to the boys and helped them land some great fish. The boat was clean and he had top notch equipment. He quickly changed up lures as the day went on. We appreciate all the communication and flexibility in order for us to have the best possible experience, hard to beat this one!

This fishing trip was our son's 8th grade graduation gift. Captain Jordan was excellent. From the beginning, he was very responsive and quick to answer messages. He was professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to share his fishing expertise. His communication was fantastic and he made sure we felt prepared and well informed before our trip. Captain Jordan is amazing! He has a great boat and excellent fishing gear. He is very experienced and he knows exactly where to take his guests for the great catch! We had plenty of bites, and we caught 3 big salmons ( 14, 18 and 21 lbs) and 2 lake trouts.. A perfect day of fishing, thank you Captain Jordan!
