Seagate Charters has proudly served the Wilmington Wrightsville and Carolina Beach area since 2005, specializing in inshore fishing with light tackle. No matter your age and your experience level, you will be warmly welcomed on board, for an awesome fishing adventure, with Captain Jamie Rushing.

Capt. Jamie has taken many customers out over the years who are in wheelchairs. He will secure his boat at the dock, allowing you to safely wheel onto the flat bow of the boat. There is enough room to move 180° in your chair throughout the trip – there is plenty of fun to be had by everyone.

Children of all ages are welcome on board. Capt. Jamie has a daughter who he has been teaching how to fish – he knows how important it is to pass the rod onto the next generation. Experience isn't necessary, but for those that wish to challenge themselves, they are welcome to bring along their own fly fishing equipment and spend their trip fly fishing.

The boat itself is a comfy, smooth sailing, shallow-water bay boat. There is plenty of room for 3 anglers to fish at once (apart from the Tarpon trip, which is for 2 people only). The boat also has a Suzuki 115 HP engine, which, coupled with fishfinder and Capt. Jamie's decades of experience, will have you on the fish all day long.

More experienced anglers can head out on the Tarpon trip. This is a great opportunity to test your skills against the Silver King – if you dare to enter his throne room, be prepared for the fight of your life in reeling him in!

The half-day trips will see you reeling in a variety of fish, depending on the season, such as, Redfish, Striped Bass, Flounder, False Albacore, Spanish Mackerel, and many more.
