If you want lots of fun, adventure, and good memories, Suncoast Fishing Adventures (SFA) is the best choice you can make. From inshore trips to offshore adventures, these guys have the skills, the equipment, and the positive attitude to make your day on the water with them special.

You will be spending the day aboard a 28' Contender center console. Built in 2012, this modern vessel is top of the line and tailored to the waters of the Gulf Coast. She's nimble enough to explore the shallows on the hunt for Redfish and Trout and stable enough to head all the way out to the Gulf Stream on the hunt for big fish.

It's more than the boat that makes SFA special, though. Captain Sam Ramey has been fishing all of his life. For him, the inshore and offshore waters of Florida's Gulf Coast are among the world's best. Let him show you why, on an exciting charter that's individualized to meet – and exceed – your desires.

Depending on the time of year and type of fishing you can catch Grouper, Snapper, Cobia, Amberjack, Sharks, Mackerel, Tripletail, Snook, Trout, Redfish, Flounder and so much more! All trips come with quality Penn rods and reels, as well as a range of lures and live bait, which Capt. Sam prepares ahead of the trip to save you time on the water.

If you're looking for an authentic Florida fishing experience with a local guide who truly loves these waters, you've come to the right place. So grab your sunglasses, sunscreen, food, and drinks, and jump aboard for a day that you'll look back on and smile for years to come.

The experience matters!
Half Day – Inshore/Nearshore - 1:00 PM on March 23, 20262 adults

My son and I booked the afternoon with captain Sam. It was everything we hoped for. The captain has a calm, laid-back style that made the whole experience feel effortless — no pressure, no rush, just a genuine love for being out on the water. We caught fish, the weather cooperated beautifully, and the conversation flowed naturally. It was one of those afternoons where everything just clicks. If you're looking for a relaxing, rewarding day on the water with someone who clearly knows what he's doing, look no further. We'd absolutely book again.

Great experience!
Half Day – Inshore/Nearshore on July 24, 20262 adults4 children

Captain Sam could not have done a better job. We had four children under 10 in our group and he put us on the fish. He maximized the catch considering the age and experience of the group. When one member got a little sea sick he just moved us into a little calmer water. Caught mix of lane snapper, mangrove snapper, grunt and gag grouper. Had some bigger stuff on but were unable to land mostly due to age and inexperience. Highly recommend hiring Captain Sam if you want to catch fish.

Half Day – Inshore/Nearshore on June 20, 20263 adults

when tou bookt heae things sometimes you end up with people who are not living in the area and really are not much of a fisherman BUT Sam is not that. he knows his stuff ans his boat and equipment is the real deal. He knows what he is doing. We did shallow and deep water fishing and caught many fish. You will not be disappointed with Sam. Go for it!!

Permit! Permit!
3/4 Day Trip – Offshore on December 14, 20252 adults

Outstanding experience. Sam was amazing and very thorough on explaining techniques in order to catch the fish. My 13yr old had the directions down, and caught her first permit as well as a ton of other species. Followed by my son catching 2 additional permit. It was a very successful day. Thank you Sam for helping us make some awesome memories. Ps based on Sam’s recommendations we made delicious fish tacos and grilled the permit fillets. Permit was delicious!!
