If you want to catch fish, look no further.
6 Hour Fishing Charter on August 1, 20262 adults

My wife and I were on our honeymoon for this trip. Our captain Andrew was phenomenal. He had us on fish all day long and navigated some hairy storms like a champ. We managed to catch snook, gag grouper, ladyfish, shark, mangrove snapper, 2 catfish species, and spotted trout. It truly was the highlight of our trip. Even had a visit from a curios manatee. Andrew also brought us out on his day off due to our previous charter getting canceled due to weather. We could not recommend this charter more highly.

Another great Fishing Experience
4 Hour Fishing Charter - 1:00 PM on June 24, 20266 adults

this is my 6th trip out with Reel Tight Fishing Carters, and 4th trip with Captain Andy. The kids (4-teenagers) always have a blast. as always Andy got us on the fish, however th fish had other plans. we did catch a couple trout and a ton of saltwater catfish whch are fun to fight and the kids enjoyed the afternoon trip. The extended faimly always waits until we are here to ask my wife and I to take their kids out. We like the morning fishing trips mre than the afternoon, but thats because we all end up napping everyday from beng on the beach or in the pool. I will be better prepared next year and book a couple moning trips early and if they don't want to go, well I know ours will.

GREAT overall experience!
4 Hour Morning (2 Guests) on April 23, 20262 adults

We came all the way from Iowa, just my daughter and I alone. Neither of us having any experience in saltwater fishing and getting onto a strange boat, going who knows where, with a couple of men. That’s kind of unnerving to say the least. Captain Matt and Andy were so down to earth and made us both feel comfortable and welcomed. They kept a very clean boat and both were extremely knowledgeable! They took us from spot to spot ensuring that we both kept busy reeling in some nice fish. They took time to explain things to us and were so patient and kind. I highly recommend these guys and their crews! We have every bit of intention of coming back and fishing with these guys again!

1st Trip of 2026 - Great Experience as Always!
6 Hour Fishing Charter on June 22, 20266 adults

This is our 3rd year and 5th trip we have booked with Reel Tight Fishing Charters. We already booked another trip for this week. We had Capt Andy and as always the group had a great time. With two adults and four teenagers on the boat he did a great job. Every spot we went we were on fish. We caught seven species: Trout, Snook, Flounder, Mangrove Snapper, Salt Water Catfish, Jack Crevalle, and a 3ft Bottlenose Shark. Highly recommended, except for the days I want to book, sorry not sorry.

Great Time
4 Hour Fishing Charter on August 4, 20263 adults

We had a great trip. We caught a lot of fish so that always helps. However, I think we would have had a good time even if the fishing was slower. Our captain was very patient with us, and taught us how to be more successful fishing. We would definitely look them up again the next time we are in the area.

Reel Tight Fishing Charters was re-established in December of 2016. The owner, Matt Fueyo, ran charters for over 20 years inshore and offshore in the Sarasota and surrounding waters. During the 2009 BP oil spill, he left the industry and joined the Army. After completing a tour overseas, he returned to Sarasota to pursue his lifelong passion. Matt has years of running private yachts for high-profile owners which is reflected in his level of professionalism and cleanliness in his charter boat company. Even though Blue Marlin is his favorite fish to catch, Snook and Tarpon still give him the adrenaline-pumping action that made him fall in love with sport fishing. Let Reel Tight Fishing Charters show you how a professional program operates.
