If you want lots of fun, adventure, and good memories, Suncoast Fishing Adventures (SFA) is the best choice you can make. From inshore trips to offshore adventures, these guys have the skills, the equipment, and the positive attitude to make your day on the water with them special.

You will be spending the day aboard a 28' Contender center console. Built in 2012, this modern vessel is top of the line and tailored to the waters of the Gulf Coast. She's nimble enough to explore the shallows on the hunt for Redfish and Trout and stable enough to head all the way out to the Gulf Stream on the hunt for big fish.

It's more than the boat that makes SFA special, though. Captain Sam Ramey has been fishing all of his life. For him, the inshore and offshore waters of Florida's Gulf Coast are among the world's best. Let him show you why, on an exciting charter that's individualized to meet – and exceed – your desires.

Depending on the time of year and type of fishing you can catch Grouper, Snapper, Cobia, Amberjack, Sharks, Mackerel, Tripletail, Snook, Trout, Redfish, Flounder and so much more! All trips come with quality Penn rods and reels, as well as a range of lures and live bait, which Capt. Sam prepares ahead of the trip to save you time on the water.

If you're looking for an authentic Florida fishing experience with a local guide who truly loves these waters, you've come to the right place. So grab your sunglasses, sunscreen, food, and drinks, and jump aboard for a day that you'll look back on and smile for years to come.

The experience matters!
Half Day – Inshore/Nearshore - 1:00 PM on March 23, 20262 adults
My son and I booked the afternoon with captain Sam. It was everything we hoped for. The captain has a calm, laid-back style that made the whole experience feel effortless — no pressure, no rush, just a genuine love for being out on the water. We caught fish, the weather cooperated beautifully, and the conversation flowed naturally. It was one of those afternoons where everything just clicks. If you're looking for a relaxing, rewarding day on the water with someone who clearly knows what he's doing, look no further. We'd absolutely book again.

Permit! Permit!
3/4 Day Trip – Offshore on December 14, 20252 adults
Outstanding experience. Sam was amazing and very thorough on explaining techniques in order to catch the fish. My 13yr old had the directions down, and caught her first permit as well as a ton of other species. Followed by my son catching 2 additional permit. It was a very successful day. Thank you Sam for helping us make some awesome memories. Ps based on Sam’s recommendations we made delicious fish tacos and grilled the permit fillets. Permit was delicious!!

Amazing experience
Extended Full Day Trip on July 28, 20253 adults
Captain Kevin was very helpful and knowledgeable. From baiting to landing a fish he was on top of things. On our 10 hour trip we hit several locations pulling fish up at every spot . We caught king fish, bonita, red grouper, red snapper, mahi mahi , shark and a few other species of fish. Between 3 people we probably caught 60 fish with around 20 or so keepers. It was a busy day to say the least. It was just a great all around trip . If your looking for a great experience fishing. This is the charter for you .

Professionally ran but rough seas
Half Day – Inshore/Nearshore - 1:00 PM on June 17, 20256 adults
Booking was super easy. Communication was great. Captain Sam knows his trade. He made contact and informed me that seas were rough, and that fishing would definitely be affected. He offered going out another day, but we wouldn’t be in town long enough, so we headed out. We caught a few fish in the deeper waters, but with the current, it was too difficult to hold a position, so he took us inland to a nice little spot where the fishing was really good. Overall good experience. I’m definitely thinking about booking another trip with Captain Sam and coming back next year for Red Snapper season. And you don’t have to download the app.

Wild Day
Full Day Trip – Offshore on August 30, 20255 adults
4 of us went out with Captain Kevin. 100 feet deep, around 40 miles out. We did the full day from 8-4. Bottom dropped for about 5 hours, and trolled for 2 hours. Each of us lost count of the amount of fish we caught. Stud groupers (Red/Black/Gag), unreal snappers (Mangrove/Lane/Vermillion), and 4 barracuda. Each of us left with days worth of fillets to take home. These guys know their stuff.
Reported catch:
Red Grouper
