Rip N Lips Charters offers 4, 6, and 8-hour trips out of Carolina Beach, NC targeting the area’s top inshore and nearshore gamefish. Owner-operator, Captain Ray Dixon, welcomes you aboard for a day of fishing fun. Reel in Red Drum, Speckled Trout, and Flounder in the bays around Carolina Beach then head home with some great memories and a ton of tasty fish!
You’ll be spending the day aboard a 25’ Tidewater center console which was fresh out of the box in 2019. She comes equipped with a 300 HP Mercury engine to get you to the best spots in no time. Once you get there, the vessel’s trolling motor will let you sneak up silently on your chosen species.
Capt. Ray specializes in catching Flounder. If you want to fill the boat with delicious flatfish, he’s your man. The captain isn’t limited to one species, though. He’s been fishing these waters all his life and can get you on whichever fish you choose, from bull Reds and gator Trout to speedy Spanish Mackerel and even Cobia.
Anglers of any age or experience level are welcomed aboard as friends. Your trip includes quality Key Largo custom rods and reels and a variety of lures. You will also find a livewell full of fresh bait ready and waiting at the start of the trip. Capt. Ray even provides fishing licenses for everyone onboard – all you need to do is show up and enjoy!
