Captain Terry is the owner and the face behind Reel Fun Charters. He has over two decades of fishing experience to his name, with fisheries spanning the Gulf from Louisiana to the Bahamas. He has also taken part in deep sea tournaments, and often people ask him to steer their boats during tourneys. Captain Terry will make sure to deliver professional service to customers onboard.
He provides quality fishing equipment, with fine tackle and reels. He will also bring lures and live bait, and will take care of the fishing license. He supports catch and release program, but if you’d like, you can take your catch home. If fishing on the fly is your thing, Captain Terry has the gear on the boat.
The vessel is a 24’ Sea Pro center console, built in 2008, and restored in 2016. She is equipped with a 200 HP Yamaha 200 four-stroke engine, and can cruise at the speeds of up to 26 knots. Up to four anglers can come along, and they will find enough room when fishing. The boat is equipped with GPS, a fishfinder, has a live bait well, and stores the required safety equipment.
You will target different fisheries depending on what’s the most productive spot at the moment, staying inshore, or treading further off the coast, to reefs and wrecks. You can try jigging, or fly fishing, using light tackle. Captain Terry is experienced and knows what works the best. Put on sunblock, shades, a cap. Bring snacks and drinks, and come along for a fun day out!
