You’ve never thought about going fishing in Lagos, Nigeria? Maybe it’s time to reconsider, seeing that bountiful waters of the area and captains of Lagos Fishing Charters, who live and breathe fishing, could take you to a one-of-a-kind angling adventure.
With Captains Morris or Fabio at the helm, you’ll be in safe and capable hands to kick-start your fishing trip. They’ve got decades of experience on the local waters and are able to put you on the fish in the blink of an eye.
There’s a plethora of fish species to target – from Pink and Snapper Cubera, Amberjack, and Yellowfin Tuna to Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, and Jack Crevalle. Let’s not forget about the Billfish royalty, Blue Marlin and Sailfish, that can be tagged all year, but especially like to hang in the Gulf of Guinea in September and October. You will be provided with all the fishing gear you need, including Shimano and Penn rods and reels, as well as lures.
You will also have a reliable speedy boat that will take you to the red-hot bite. Your fishing platform for the day is a 25’ Wellcraft center console with the capacity to sit up to 3 eager anglers. On it, you’ll find fishfinding electronics that will enable you to stay on your prey’s trail, as well as spearfishing and snorkeling equipment, which are available on request.
Along with the top-notch equipment, you will find snacks, drinks, and lunch on board, so the only thing you have to bring when you’re coming is yourself. You will have a first mate to help you with everything, so even if you’re a fishing novice, you’re more than welcome. If you’re planning to bring your kids to your angling expedition with Lagos Fishing Charters, feel free to do so, as long as they’re 6 and older.
Your captain will have appropriate life vests for both the little ones and yourself, so you’re fully prepped to head out and catch something magnificent!
