+11If you’re looking to spend an incredible day fishing the Punta Cana/Bavaro waters, you can’t go wrong with Pescando Y Comiendo! Captain Jhonny Gil specializes in providing his customers with the ultimate Caribbean fishing experience, no matter their experience level.
Your boat for the day will be the “Fiol,” a 38’ Hatteras offshore sportfishing vessel. It comes with twin 380 HP Caterpillar engines, a flybridge, toilet, shower, and it even has a kitchen.
Onboard you’ll find state of the art navigational and safety gear, a fighting chair, an ice-chest, and even snorkeling gear. The Fiol is spacious enough to comfortably carry up to 8 passengers, not including the captain and the first mate.
Before the trip, the crew will pick you up from the hotel you’re staying at and drive you to the Jellyfish beach, where your adventure will start. The captain will show you the most productive fisheries and do everything in his power to put you on your dream catch. Depending on the bite, your pray list will include Tuna, Blue Marlin, Mahi Mahi, Barracuda, Bonito, Bonefish, and much more.
You won’t have to worry about the gear either – all the tackle and lures will be covered by Pescando Y Comiendo. Snacks/drinks and catch cleaning are also included in the price.

Just missed the big one
Full Day Trip on August 8, 2024
Captain Manuel and deck hand Javi were awesome. We were after the Big Marlin and just missed getting one in the boat. Was no fault of either of the guys just how it goes at times fishing. We did catch some Mahi and barracuda. Chef Javi made sure we ate well on the boat. Would recommend as they did all they could to get us on the fish.
