Downtown Tampa Charters 

Captain Max and Mr Ralph were awesome. we call catfish, we caught an angel fish a Lady fish some trout and my 12-year-old caught a shark! the best part of the trip was when my 12-year-old caught the shark and even Captain Max and Mr Ralph were just as excited as we were. They were friendly and very knowledgeable. They definitely have customers for life!

Max and Ralph were great. We brought our 10 and 12 year old out with us. They have fished a lot back home with limited success and very little knowledge. We all learned a little and had a great time. Caught a lot of different fish. Got some fun photos and we’d highly recomend these guys! thanks for the good time!

Captain Max kept us on the fish almost every cast. He grew up fishing these waters and it shows. If we were catch and keep we would’ve limited out. Will definitely be back to use them again in January for a work outing to impress some of our clients. Highly recommend this outfit!

Captain Max and his first mate were absolutely amazing! Friendly, fun, and knowledgeable! This was most definitely the highlight of our trip and we will remember this for a lifetime! We will definitely be back!

My husband and I came to Tampa for a long weekend and decided to book a short fishing charter. Captain Max and his First Mate were great from the moment we got on the boat. They gave us some history/info about some of the locations as we moved, and we were catching fish as soon as the cast hit the water. They kept our lines baited and removed fish, so we spent all our time doing the actual fun part - catching fish. We also had a couple of manatees swim right up to the boat as well as some dolphins. We caught all kinds of different fish, and Captain Max fileted them for us when we got back to the dock. If we're in Tampa again, we will definitely book this again. It was one of the best parts of our trip.

We had a group of 4 and had a great time! Max was an awesome captain and his co captain Ralph was awesome and funny!!! They always made sure we had live bait on our hooks and they made sure we knew what we were doing. We moved to a few different spots and we all caught many species of fish including bonnet sharks, trout, mangrove snapper, needle fish and a few others. Max also got us some mangos off a tree hahah. I would 10/10 recommend this trip for anyone looking for a fun trip.

Captain max and his first mate where so good with the kids! My boys are 7 and 9 and he was vary attentive to showing them the way. Both boys got fish on the boat even tho it was a hard fishing day. He made sure we all landed fish! I highly recommend going out in the bay with max! I guarantee you will enjoy your experience! Capt Max was great. We had a great time and caught a lot of fish. We wanted to get Snook, Red, and shark and we got them all. Fishing the mangroves was a unique experience and produced some nice fish. Max has many spots and if one wasn’t producing we quickly moved to one that did. Max and 1st mate Ralph were very helpful in describing the techniques and great were fun to talk with. I recommend this charter.

We came to visit from MD and hopped right off our flight onto this charter. Max and Ralph were so accommodating, as our flight was a bit delayed, making us late to our booked event. Weather was perfect! I learned soooooo much from the both of them. We even caught a Bonnethead shark yall! I would do this over a hundred times. Very affordable! A must do if you’re in the Tampa area! 👏🏼

My son and I had a great time. I definitely recommend you try it. The Capt. And crew did an excellent job of helping 2 newbies and teaching us some basics. They were also very patient and helpful. We didn’t have to bait a single hook and he put us on the fish. Unfortunately our trip was cut short by rain but he was very fair and prorated our trip. I would definitely recommend the morning trip if you’re going in the summer as it rained every afternoon we were in Florida. I wish we would have done the 6 hour trip and started in the a.m.
