Broke Tip Charter is a family-owned and operated company that specializes in Gulf fishing trips. It is run by a husband and wife team, who love being on the water and want you to have a great time.
We will have the boat ready to go when you get there. Captain Kent will go over any safety concerns and answer any questions you have before we leave the dock.
Your boat for the day will be a comfortable 29' Luhrs. She is a beautiful vessel with a flybridge, a cabin, and a toilet. There is enough room for up to 6 anglers to fish, relax, and enjoy their day. Also, there's plenty of shade and space for enjoying the ride. The boat comes powered by twin inboard Yanmar Turbo diesel engines, which contributes greatly to your comfort and ensures cruising with ease. The boat is fully outfitted with everything you need for a successful fishing trip.
With Broke Tip Charter, you will be able to fish for Tuna, Mahi Mahi, Red Snapper, Spanish and King Mackerel, Barracuda, Amberjack, Triggerfish, Wahoo, Grouper, Redfish, Trout, and a number of other species. Methods include trolling, bottom fishing, tight-lining live bait, or sight fishing.
Trips include dead bait or live bait (depending on availability), tackle, ice, licenses, and a complimentary fish cleaning and bagging service. You are welcome to bring your own drinks and snacks with you.
Please note departure times are flexible and will be discussed with the captain prior to the trip. If you need a certain departure time, this can also be arranged.

We had a great time fishing with Captain Kent and his wife, Bobby, today! They were both so friendly and made us feel right at home from the start. Captain Kent knew exactly where to take us, and thanks to him we landed A king mackerel and several bonita throughout the trip. Bobby was awesome to have on board and helped keep everything running smoothly. If you’re looking for a fun day on the water with good people who know how to put you on fish, I highly recommend Captain Kent and Bobby. We made some great memories and can’t wait to book another trip with them the next time we’re in Destin!

We booked with Broke Tip Charter for our first saltwater fishing trip, and it was incredible. Captain Kent and Bobbi made us feel welcome right away and were amazing with our kids (ages 9, 11, and 15) and our adult child. There were six of us total, and everyone had the chance to reel in a fish. We ended up catching four, and honestly, we were thrilled to catch anything at all since there’s never a guarantee with fishing. On top of that, they pointed out turtles, dolphins, and so many things we would’ve missed on our own. We left so happy and already know we’ll be back for a full‑day charter next time. We truly enjoyed the experience. Great people and a fantastic day on the water.

Im a licensed Capt myself an an avid offshore fisherman. Kent and Bobby actually picked me up at my waterfront Airbnb. just really down to earth people that know their fishing. The boat was well equiped and ran well through some typical Florida nautical seas. Tough day of fishing but we made the best of it.
We had a great time with Captain Kent and Bobbi. We specifically asked to stay in the bay even though this boat is clearly optimized in the gulf. We appreciated him accommodating us and enjoyed beautiful weather, knowledgable guides, dolphin and sea turtle sightings, and the comfortable shade on the boat. We caught enough Spanish Mackerel to feed us for lunch which made our son quite happy. Thanks for the fantastic experience!

You can cancel or modify your booking up to 3 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.

Transfer to/from departure site may be available and included in price depending on your location and distance from the dock.
How you can pay
When the captain confirms your trip, FishingBooker charges your credit card a 15% deposit to guarantee your reservation.
The remaining balance is to be paid directly to the charter operator on or prior to your trip date in one of the following payment methods:
