Captain Kent called several days before the trip to find out exactly what we were looking for. I told him my teenage daughter really wanted to catch a shark so she could have a better picture than the boys have. He said we’ll get it done. He called twice more before the trip. When we got there he and his son Dallas were as nice as good be. We went to, I think, 5 spots but had no luck. I could tell he was getting a little frustrated with us having no luck. Tried trolling while going to one more spot. No luck trolling either just trying to catch anything.  Finally at a sandbar he spotted a shark and dropped anchor. It was kind of fun listening to him encouraging the shark to bite. And it finally happened. Got a great video for my daughter and a once in a lifetime memory. Worth every penny.

Our trip with Kent went very well. Unfortunately, due to the season, we caught only two small red snappers but it was not for a lack of effort! Kent spent a lot of time trying to get us in a good spot and even tried a couple of different fishing methods. Luck was not on our side, but Kent made every effort and really wanted to help us make that big catch. The ride on the boat from the bay to the gulf was beautiful, and we even spotted some dolphins pointed out by the captain. This trip was very competitively priced, especially compared to booking from a Destin charter. Book with Broke Tip, you won’t be disappointed.

We booked an off shore charter with Captain Kent when we got out on the gulf the seas were pretty rough 3 of the 6 got pretty sea sick, they were very accommodating about that, captain Kent still got us on 5 fish unfortunately two were out of season. This was our first time off shore and didn’t know what to expect but I would say they set the bar super high, they were friendly, honest and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend this captain and crew especially if you are new!

Captain Kent and his wife were amazing! Super nice people, explained everything from the get go and were extremely helpful! Made our fishing trip amazing and we were about to snag 7 fish and bring home 5 (dang dolphins😂). Overall 10/10 experience and already planning the next trip out with them in the fall!

After looking around, we decided to book with Kent and Bobbi. We are glad we did. They communicated proactively and consistently. They were ready to go on time and we headed straight out. While catching fish is never guaranteed, they made every attempt to make sure we were on fish. We ended up catching 3 King Mackrel and 2 False Albacore.

Kent and Bobbi went to great lengths to answer our families questions and to learn during the charter. When it came to clean up, they cleaned them well and helped us make sure we stored them properly. They even went as far to give us good recommendation on where to take them.

I know some of this stuff is “industry standard”, but the time and attention they gave us was greatly appreciated. We will definitely be reaching out to them when we are back in the area.
