The vessel is a thing of beauty and brand new, well-suited for inshore and nearshore fishing. It has quality Hummingbird navigational equipment to find the best bite, as well as the reliable fishing gear to reel in your next trophy. Live bait and an assortment of lures are also available.
On his boat, Capt. Doug can accommodate both die-hard fishermen and novices who are still finding their sea legs. Depending on the time of the year, your guide will know exactly where to take you around Englewood, FL to have a bountiful trip. Whether you're going after Tarpon or chasing Snook, you're going to have a blast. Red Snapper is the most welcome sight when it's in season, and Cobia, Redfish, Kingfish, and Spanish Mackerel are also on your catch list.

I’ve did some great charter fishing in Mexico, Costa Rica & various places in the US. Captain Doug Goodman is without a doubt the best fishing guide we’ve had the pleasure of working with. He had a great plan to satisfy our wishes. We wanted something we could cook at our VRBO while here on vacation. He is very vocal and informative about what we’re doing & need to do and has extensive knowledge of the areas where he took us fishing. We were able to catch some good eating fish everywhere we went, see some great sights with a man that treated us like family. He was very knowledgeable about the ocean & its history. He even provided some good fish recipes. When we all got home we couldn’t stop talking about our experience. He is a true gem. Thank you for your time Doug. Awsome trip all round. The captain was super patient with everyone in my group as they were all newish to fishing, and he taught them alot! We were happy at the end of the trip with multiple species to take home even sea bass! I will be booking again next time I'm in the area.
We had another charter that cancelled on us and booked Capt Doug last minute. He was absolutely amazing! It didn’t take long and he had us on the speckled Trout. We had a lot of fun and made a lot of memories! Capt Doug said the bite was slower up where we docked and gave us a free hour just for the extra time it took to go south and back. Definitely recommend!
We went on half day fishing trip with our kids in February, and had such a fun time didn't want it to end. Boat was so comfortable for our party. Captain took us to several fishing spots and was so knowledgeable about area. We caught few different kind of fish but no keepers like my boys wanted. Weather was a little foggy and water colder but so calm. We also experienced a dolphin visit near our boat and try comunicate with us such an amazing feeling. Don't hesitate to book with captain Doug you will enjoy it.
We had a wonderful day out on the water with Captain Doug! The fishing was really tiff, the ONLY reason for a 4 star overall experience. Captain Doug pulled out all the tricks trying to get the fish to bite. He put us on fish all day but the bite was just really slow. He let my daughter drive the boat just to try and give us a great experience. We went to numerous places, went offshore even trying to put fish in the boat when we were on a back water trip! He stayed out an extra hour just TRYING TO DO HIS BEST!! On top of all that it was Fathers Day and he was willing to still take us out!! Thank You Captain Doug for the fun!! The Burgess Family!!
